    NOCO Gen Mini 2

Actually maintenance is keeping them charged, which is usually a steady green. Pulsing charge current usually means anti-sulfation to recover the battery from very low discharge. But it sounds like it charged and then went to maintenance, which sounds normal. Check the manual for the light...

Oil Change Kit For Glastron 187 GTS - Rotax 250HP Super Charge

Unless you have a really cheap alternative that meets the OEM oil specs, why not use what the manufacturer recommends? You only need to change the oil once a year so it's not an expensive job.

Oil Change Kit For Glastron 187 GTS - Rotax 250HP Super Charge

T6 is diesel oil isn't it? You want to ensure the oil has anti-foaming additives as jetboat engines are basically the opposite of diesel engines which rely on low rev torque instead of high rev jet thrust.

Replacement OEM parts for 2020 model boats

According to their site, they don't have exact matches to the stock Yamaha "seadek" mat: Cool Gray Over Black is OEM Color Match for 2020 195 Models (Note: Cool Gray is slightly lighter in color than that of the OEM pad but is a very good match and should not be noticeable considering it is...

2020 195S SVHO Engine Performance Upgrades

It works great on jetskis because they're so light, but compared to a 2500 lbs boat it doesn't add much without a lot of other mods to help. @DavisAR195 has done some mods with a 2019 AR195 which is almost identical, might want to read his posts. As for top end, I'm fine with the top speed - I...

    New Yamaha

Although it's propless and they advertise the shallow draft, remember the bottom intake is like a vacuum cleaner sucking up water and any debris near the intake within 12-18". I always recommend to maintain 30-36" water depth when running the engine to ensure you don't suck up sand, small rocks...

    8in Speakers on AR190

Yup I only know about them because of bike friends. As for the speakers, the choice depends on how much you enjoy music...you need to listen to decide if the cost is worth the sound for you. Don't forget that if you appreciate good musical sound, you won't be ripping across the water all the...

    Blacktip elite mats installed

I like the brown colour scheme...has a certain classy look to it but it wouldn't match the grey tones in my boat. The only issue is now you need to upgrade your seating to match! :winkingthumbsup"

    Michigan

Depends on the temp and water conditions around the great lakes and inland lakes. The last few years have been very high water levels causing lots of debris in the spring water run off so we've been late, around May two four weekend. If the waterways are fairly normal, first week of May is typical.

No it's checked every 100 hours.

anyone use the port cap area as an ice chest?

Do you know where this hose is located? I presume a valve can be easily installed?

    8in Speakers on AR190

Yup I get that - JL has some nice lower budget amps too, like the MX280/4 or MX500/4 and MX300/1. They're marine rated and have excellent output but don't cost as much as their higher end amps as they skimp on the extra features and are minimalist designs for compact installs like motorcycles...

    2019 212X Connext

Probably not feasible - Yamaha uses a proprietary network command structure and screens/firmware are probably unique to the model.

    Ribbon Delete on MR-1 Engine?

I've read that the MR-1 does not benefit from the ribbon delete. Same goes for the supercharged 1.8l engines, the boost pressure compensates for any restriction. The normally aspirated 1.8l gets the benefit of better airflow. If you want to hit 50, go out with low fuel and no passengers, on a...

    8in Speakers on AR190

There's a reason they cost more, and it's not just the name. Look at the specs. Listen to the sound output. You get what you pay for. There are many amps capable of incredible power output for low prices, however it's usually through a simple IC design, not discrete outputs, so while...

242 Limited - engine limited to idle

^This. You change plugs AFTER storage to put in new CLEAN plugs. If you don't replace after fogging, you risk having the plugs not reach proper temp and mis-fire. If you don't replace after fogging, then it's a good idea to remove and clean them before first use.

    DB651 Grill Question

The online manual shows the grill is put on over the top of the tweeter and screwed down...no mention of removing the tweeter which makes sense as I wouldn't think they're removable. Perhaps someone here has actually removed the grills from their boat and can comment...
