    Bias ply to radial

I think I'm going with Monroe Muffler, they have ~1200 stores nationwide BUT are headquartered right here in Rochester NY! As a side project my wheel look like crap, different colors etc. I bought some primer and matt black spray paint, I'm going to work on the spare and see how it comes out...

Advice needed. Wet slip new Yamaha 212 without cover--- is bilge sufficient?

I only received the shipping cover, I had a canvas shop make my bow and cockpit covers. Same experience on 2 Yamahas that I have owned over the last 6 years or so. I still use the shipping cover for towing longer distances lol. I need to buy the yamaha towing cover!

Ford Maverick Not Sure For Towing

I think the maverick serves the purpose of someone who shoots around town, might need to throw a few loads of mulch in the bed during the spring, gets groceries etc. It can also do some light towing all while getting really good gas milage. Not a vehicle I would be interested in, but for those...

Advice needed. Wet slip new Yamaha 212 without cover--- is bilge sufficient?

sounds like they just got the boat and it takes time to schedule for the cover. I got my first boat a while back ('19 Yamaha) brand new, beautiful boat. Because of scheduling I had 1 day between when I bought the boat to when the covers were going to be made. It rained, soaked my new toy :)...

Is $33k too much for Yamaha-

worth is based on so many things, supply is a huge driver. That price is high a few years ago, however, take a look at what other boats comparable to the one you are looking at are going for. Maybe today that's the going price?

AR240 at Haulover on Wavy Boats. Anyone from here?

this is my nightly TV, I throw on one of the few channels that film the FL channels. Rough waves, awesome boats and bad drivers. I see a few yamahas going through overhaul, most eat a little water (usually have people in the bow) that midnight express (beast) though....

    What is This

I initially thought bunk wear mark, but your boat is on the trailer and that looks a good distance from the bunk. I would have a professional look at it, just to be safe.

Digital File Storage Options? NAS? Cloud? What are you doing?

I have a synology NAS, had it for about 6 years or so. It's a wonderful device (16TB of raid 5) but in today's world, it's all cloud. I would pick whatever service you like and look at the prices. Personally I like the Microsoft 365 subscription for the family (each gets 1TB of storage). If...

    SeaDek Installation

what the heck is taking you so long? :) Looking forward to seeing the process completed as this might be in my future. I've removed the snap in carpet (gets wet and then smells, pain in the butt) and we just use the floor with the snaps. I should remove the snaps and fill the gap, I have NO...

The Boat Market Bubble is bursting...

I would say the same is true of the housing and land market. a quick view on Zillow shows much more land available near me than was a year ago. Supply goes up, price comes down.

    Are 1.8s ( 360 HP ) really enough power ?

I don't look down on other boats, so that's why I don't get the thinking. I enjoy looking at all of the different boats out there, much more varied than cars. However you get out there, you're a boater, enjoy the water. before I could afford a 24', I used to get out on the water in a canoe...

    Are 1.8s ( 360 HP ) really enough power ?

ease of maintenance, less stuff to break, great little family boat. There are a bunch of yamahas at my marina (yamaha dealer next door), I've seen the same folks for years, not many issues with these boats.

How to pair wire size, fuse blocks etc.

Thanks, good to know. I was just looking at the raw numbers (fuse block max and length of run). I won't be adding anything other than what you listed, so that will save A LOT of cash lol. I added 35 feet of red and black @2/0 gauge to my westmarine cart and it was like 650 bucks lol. I'm...

How to pair wire size, fuse blocks etc.

I ordered Klein Tools steel fish (1/8" @120'), even if I don't need it for the fuse block, I'll need it in the future. I plan on ordering a roll of cable, various cable ends to fit the various connectors and a crimper. Doing a quick online search, I don't see many USA brands that make...

I would love to see some info on how you go about matching these components. I am in a similar situation where I want to upgrade the sound system, or build a new one, and I am not entirely sure how. my boat has 3 pairs of 6.5 inch and a sub, I want to get the 3 pairs upgraded and ADD a...
