    I've had lots of luck with my Danforth anchor in the sandy bottoms of the bay and Gulf of Mexico.... my SX190 holds fine even in windy conditions. I have maybe 5ft of chain....

    1). Not uncommon, bucket adjustment can help... with a jet boat the only true neutral is turned off 2). Yes, sloppy steering is common and the addition of fins (thrust vector or cobra steering) help, but they probably don't make them for your older boat

    Yep, Yamaha tests out every boat on the water, basically just a hull and engine with minimal gas... Smooth lake water up in Georgia! I'm guessing 62 is the max you can achieve
