JetBoatPilot Major Product Release Coming Very Soon!!

I live 15 mins away from their shop, but like @fireflymedic said, its all inside now. I've even offered Will my boat to use for test fitting, but he didn't take me up on it.. but if that happened, I wouldn't be able to tell anyone about it anyway. I've even gone as far as trying to search...

Just picked up a 2015 sx190 that was in salt water.

I have a 2015 sx190, ran only in salt water and the engine looks as nice as day I bought it. 50 hr's on it I flush engine with saltaway after each outing and spray silicon over the engine once it's cooled off. No rust in my engine bay at all.

    Additional shade for the swimdeck?

I know, right? I want it!! Right now I just has an Anchor Shade III on the bow for some extra shade, but its not where near as awesome as above! The swim platform shade actually looks fairly easy to construct, I'd guess they had a zipper added to the back side of the OEM bimini top and then...

    Additional shade for the swimdeck?

Found this setup on another forum a while ago, been meaning to take the picture to a local canvas place to see if they can duplicate. The original poster is no longer active, so I can't ask him any questions about the setup.

JetBoatPilot Major Product Release Coming Very Soon!!

Seadek wrap for the whole boat... all exterior surfaces and the trailer. No need to worry about tapping the dock!!! Actually though.... that makes me wonder... would Seadek along the side of the boat where the dock would hit be something useful?? The rub rail it too high to provide any...

How NOT to get your AR190/195 out of a garage......

I tried to pull my SX190 out of the garage with the engine hatch cover open... put a big gash in the cover and ruined the garage door opener... oh yea, it was on my birthday as I was excitedly pulling the boat out

    SX190 stereo

I installed Polks to replace the crappy OEM speakers in the SX190.... a few things that made it not as simple as I expected... 1) The spade connectors are different size and the Polks was smaller... instead of replacing them on the boat side, I just crushed them with pliers and got a solid...

Adding weight to cut down on chop

Cement was just on my mind from doing some construction stuff at my house.... I figured if the concept was sound something besides bags of cement would be used. Trim tabs do seem like the ideal option... I'm just scared of drilling holes in the hull (though I know it shouldn't be an issue)

Adding weight to cut down on chop

Has anyone ever thought about adding weight to the front of their boat to help it cut through the chop better? My SX190 bounces around quite a bit in choppy water... I was wondering if placing a couple hundred pounds of weight under the front seats would help it push through the chop more...

    Yamaha Trade-in Guarantee

I understood the 60 month stuff, but the higher rate was not clear... I financed at the lowest rate, not the higher rate you mention to qualify for the promotion. I assumed Yamaha special financing rate was the low promo I got if 3.99%. Nobody had really explained it until @robert843 did.

    Yamaha Trade-in Guarantee

Has anyone ever used the Yamaha Trade in guarantee promotion I see advertised on their Offers page? When I bought my 2015 they advertised the same thing and I'm thinking ahead to a new bigger boat in a few years

Dont forget to clamp cooling hose when being towed

I've been towed in before and didn't have the clamps... SeaTow actually asked if I had clamps and seemed annoyed I didn't... They towed back in slow. Just to be extra careful, before I cranked the engine afterwards I pulled all the plugs and cranked it (this would allow water to fly out the...
