Engine vibrating and produces almost no thrust

Sounds like cavitations caused by something in the impeller area... Look up there with a flash light and worst case pull the pump assembly to investigate...

AR192 did pretty good for its first sea outing

I live in PCB and have never not had my "crappy Yamaha anchor" hold just fine. I'd guess that you didn't have enough rode out. We usually back into a spot, drop the anchor and keep backing up a bit more... Tie off the front and then manually wade and set the rear.....usually ending knee...

Anyone used Star Brite Salt Off compared to Salt Away?

I live in PCB and use Salt Away, I flush with fresh water for 10mims, then then Salt Away until I get foam out of the engine exhaust and then turn off the hose, then turn off the engine. I proceed to use the remaining salt away on my trailer.

Newby questions for my 2016 SX190

I leave my bilge on from the time I start backing down the ramp until I'm done done cleaning the boat and it's in the garage. My bilge never spits water out unless I am really scrubbing the deck clean with lots of water ... Never have seen the bilge actually do anything while on the water...

What anchors are you guys using?

Fluke anchor, fits perfectly in the anchor locker, 5ft of chain, never let me down. Have another identical anchor for the back... You need two anchors for getting close to the shore.... Sandy bottoms... Gulf/Bay

Well, looks like it's finally going to happen!

you'll want to make sure your condo in PCB has a freshwater hose hookup somewhere so you can flush your engine every day after boating... be sure to take your boat to a spray off car wash or something as well and get all the salt off of it

Well, looks like it's finally going to happen!

As a new boater you should consider taking the state boaters safety course for you home state https://www.boatus.org/courses/?_ga=1.5568499.1590657643.1448292797 Your insurance might also give you a discount for completing it

Well, looks like it's finally going to happen!

PCB has crystal clear water with no algea or water quality issues. We've gone through the pass and into the Gulf, but you have to be careful of the wind direction and how rough it is, 19ft jet boats bounce around more than other similarly sized boats. Last fall we were in the Gulf weekly , but...

dolphin is one of the nicer looking ramps, I've just never used it because it looks busy.

Well, looks like it's finally going to happen!

I use Quail and then if there's nowhere to park I'll go down to Safari... people park along the vacant lots around there so there's always parking. Quail's ramp is a better ramp for my sx190, the safari ramp gets too deep to quick and makes it more difficult to get the boat on the trailer...

I live in PCB, let me know if you have any boating questions about here... free boat ramps and whatnot

Well, looks like it's finally going to happen!

I keep my 190 in the garage... my two at garage is actually a little short to fit the boat straight in and I have to caddy corner it... just something to keep in mind

    @help Bilge not working?

Reading the description fit the Rule 25s it sounds like it operates like the OEM, turns on briefly every few minutes?
