    First, shame on scarab!!!!!! , yes some dealers have no clue! not sure how they get trained, most just want to sell boats. Second, its scarab issue to help resolve your issue! I had a BAD DEALER and scarab helped resolve issues and repairs with new dealer/mechanic. sorry about your issues ...

    It's has sealant on the bolts, I would recommend taking the jet pump off to clean out anything stuck up in pump/grate. If you don't know how to remove pump, YouTube it., very easy Good luck

    The bolts go through the hull of boat and are the nuts are under the back of engine, very hard to get too.

    One issue I found with the windshield moving is that all the screws go through the brackets not the windshield and the clamp bracket gets tightened down but doesn't tighten down the windshield enough and the windshield moves. That is why I put some adhesive on the clamp end that makes contact...

    Update, I have a 195 it looks like you have a 215, things might be slightly different.

    Yes very common issue, my passenger side was moving, screws and bolts were loose. There is 3 bolts that go through front of windshield that you can get to underneath windshield in storage area, loosen them and 2 brackets on the side of windshield loosen them they are only 3/4 " wood screws...

    Be careful when you install new one they are very cheap and break easily, I rested my hand on the vent hose and the assembly cracked and had to replace.

    Yes I did, but you can buy a can of it, I didn't like seeing the galvanized metal on guides.

    Special note!!!! The nema 2000 network I installed on 2017 scarab from yacht devices came with wrong pin rewire information, contacted them and they sent updated instructions. I would strongly suggest purchasing the adapter plug so all you need is plug and play and no need to rewire anyway.

    Yes it is a must for pictures!LOL If anyone is interested I picked up some inflatable boat fenders on Amazon $21each , I can store 4 fenders in the place of one old fender. They are great! Ocean fenders, Amazon
