Rule Mate 500 gph Automatic Bilge Pump Keeps Running

It's direct wired to the battery. At least the 2019s are. I am guessing the 2018s are the same. Switching it on is just an override of the sensors and it will run continuously. This also means that there is going to be some battery draw even with the battery switch set to off

All things equal aren't OBs more efficient than jets?

    Bow Roller

The problem with the V is that the hull around bow eye isn't V shaped.

AR210 underpowered with 4-5 adults and towing?

If you are talking a new 210 I don't think the new TR1 engines offer much fuel efficiency over the 1.8 liters. In fact if you believe the boattest.com numbers they are probably worse.

    2019 Yamaha AR210 top speed

I can get 43 on mine. When I scroll through the connext it shows a max speed reached of 45.something. I don't recall ever hitting that maybe when the dealer was breaking it in? I don't run at WOT much, but you should be getting low 40s somewhere. Are you in higher altitude?

    Bow Roller

I bought a 2019 AR210 a few months ago and after some time researching and lurking here I was fully aware that a replacement bow roller would need to be the first mod. The dealer I bought from actually removed the stock plastic bow rollers and replaced on all the Yamahas they sold, so I thought...

Which Jet Boat should I purchase?

Yamaha is the only jetboat to offer some sort of solution to cleaning out debris with the cleanout ports, but even then it's not something you want to be doing very often.

Will a 2019 Yamaha handle better than the old models in low speeds

@Cobra Jet Steering LLC With the 2019 nozzles do the fangs interfere with the reverse angled flow? I am looking into fins but wasn't sure if the fangs would disrupt the angled reverse flow?

Battery switch left on... Dead battery

Your radio is probably drawing power even when it's off, that an your bilge. If you have power at your storage facility, I'd get a charger and hook it up. If not, and it's going to be some time before you use it again, you can keep the battery on a trickle charger at home.

    Trailering with wake tower down?

No kidding. I'm 6' 200lbs and just to get in there and situated to lower the washers a bit it was a struggle, and I doubled up on the stupid by doing it alone when no one was around. I managed to squeak out but screaming for help started crossing my mind.

    Trailering with wake tower down?

Does the nut have a nylon insert? I first lowered my nuts a bit to gain a little wiggle room with our garage. I probably should get in there and check.

    Trailering with wake tower down?

You would need the brackets. I have a 2019 and it's just plain jane retention cables in the down position. The tower would just bounce around and likely damage something with it down. The shipping cover goes on with the tower down though, so you couldn't use the shipping cover while...

    Cobra Jet Steering - Review

What's the downside of down at speed? Is it just loss of that "jetboat feel" type of thing? .

    Costco Tubes are out

Yeah I bought a manual pump after my first attempt tubing. My electric mattress pump wasn't adequate enough. Plus it's not 12v, so I couldn't do any topping off on the water. Are there any 12v electric pumps that are adequate enough? I'd like to get a 12v for deflation purposes, but I can...

    New PerfectPass product??

Yeah I'm pretty much sold on the RS for when I upgrade, unless something revolutionary drops soon. I'd do it now if I could get my wife onboard, but being as we just bought the boat she isn't even listening to any I need a 1400 speed control system arguments. My kids aren't into watersports...

    Predictions on 2020 models

Pontoons strap some serious power these days. If I could afford one like that I'd have no shame in driving it. Sadly I could only afford the lame 20mph versions.

    New PerfectPass product??

LOL. I doubt he shows up in this thread at this point that would be suicide. I still say the knob and RPM control makes RS the easy choice even at the higher price point and ignoring unscrupulous business practices.
