    New PerfectPass product??

I agree. If you asked me to judge JPB on what we know of this incident I would have no choice but to consider this unsavory. My stance as a consumer is to manage how that unsavory mark affects my decision. I try to limit that kind of information because for the most part character issues are...

    New PerfectPass product??

Filming practices to gain an advantage would be governed by the league rules. If whatever league deems it as okay, it would be fair game and completely above board. If not, it would be a big no no. The governing body of our economic system has already deemed rebranding unprotected products...

    New PerfectPass product??

Breaching a contract isn't always shady IMO. It can be, but sometimes it's business. The law has avenues to rectify the injured parties assuming the elements were there to make it a valid agreement. That likely wasn't worth pursing because the loss was only 1 unit. If it's immaterial for one...

    New PerfectPass product??

That's fair, but that just doesn't phase me as a consumer in a free market. JBP got a free unit and used his position as leverage to try to get his ultimate goal which was some sort of licensing agreement to sell RS. That didn't work and RS wrote off the loss of the unit. My guess is RS could...

    New PerfectPass product??

Ridesteady is something I was looking into for the future, so I welcome some competition. I don't know the history with JBP and I can understand being sour if you've been wronged by him, but it seems the majority of the board praises his customer service, and since I'm a customer that's what's...

    Retail price vs price paid?

Winter helps and targeting a leftover 2019 after the 2020s are released will help as well. The 2020 lineup will come out in August.

    Retail price vs price paid?

It also is going to depend on your dealer and location. Obviously dealers in hot markets aren't going to take much off and buying in June isn't going to help your case.

    Texoma summer 2019 July 27

Yeah I'm off 380 and 377. Lewisville is closer but we head north the Ray Roberts. Everything I've heard of lake Lewisville is it's way too crowded with way too many crazies.

Which ramp? I was out Saturday, but wasn't sure if Sunday's storm completely shut them down. I launch at the Jordan Park ramp.

    After the lake care

I'm not adverse to it just new to it. Freezing I understand and will make it a point to do it before winterization. Just making sure not doing it isn't a big issue with these boats. I haven't noticed any water in the garage yet.

    After the lake care

Is blowing the water out of the boxes a big deal? I don't do this. The dealer told me to do this and barely any water was coming out and just think the adverse affects of revving the unloaded engines without any cooling supply to outweigh the positives of a getting a little more water out. I...

AR210 underpowered with 4-5 adults and towing?

Don't tow tubes from the tower. It's also in the manual, and pretty much standard operating procedure for any boat with a tower, but an often broken rule.

AR210 underpowered with 4-5 adults and towing?

I have a 2019 AR210, and we just had 4 adults, two 8 year old kids, and a 4 year old + gear. Towed a big mable with no issues. No issues cruising around. Could easily get to 35, but I didn't push it to see what it topped out at. I also had the bimini deployed the whole time. The only...

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

I'm not going to comment on dock fishing, but you need to google zipper merge and find out how you are actually supposed to merge. Early mergers need a slap upside the head.

Possible new tow truck ( Tesla )

I've never heard it called the lazy lane. I don't think that's a very good term. Grocery shopping doesn't take a lot of energy it takes a lot of time. Grocery pickups and self checkouts save time. Saving time isn't itself lazy. Now using that time so you can sit on your couch longer is lazy.

    1-10 how unacceptable is this?

In reality the 212x from that year didn't have all the bells and whistles they come with now and had no connext, so your current setup with sound proofing, connext, and forward arching towers is the better boat. So worst case scenario you'd be posing as the lesser boat.

    1-10 how unacceptable is this?

Perfectly acceptable with no poser deductions imo. Yamaha is very hit and miss in their graphic choices. The 2015 212x is one of the hits.

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

I honestly never really thought about tubing vs boarding/surfing. I don't see any harm in asking just be nice, and accept that no may be the answer. Is a wakeboarder giving way to a fisherman wanting to fish the cove?

    Launching 2018 SX 190

I install the cleanouts and plug prior to leaving the garage. Then when at the ramp pull over to the side and load kids/gear on boat, remove the transom straps, turn on the battery and blower. I then back the boat up and with about 5 or so feet left my wife takes over the wheel and I unhook...

Possible new tow truck ( Tesla )

Light duty pickups are the best selling vehicles in America by a longshot. The vast majority of them will never find themselves far from the mainstream grid. This is a boating forum so a lot of posters here may find themselves away from the grid because of the lifestyle of boating/camping but...
