Possible new tow truck ( Tesla )

Just throw a portable gas generator in the bed and charge as you go.

What thing do other boaters do that annoy you?

I hate it when other boaters decide to go out to the lake the same time as me.

    2019 212 limited S garage height requirements

I don't think so. The height on trailer for the 212 limited is well under 95" and I think if you completely drop the tower down below the windshield you'll be around the same height as that. The only thing is the tower base sticks up as it's lowered so I am not sure if that would stick up...

    2019 212 limited S garage height requirements

I guess the Limited S tower is a little taller folded than the standard AR210 tower. Mine comes in right around 8' folded stock, and I adjusted the cable stops to give me an inch of wiggle room. You'll probably need to either extend the cables with a longer bolt or completely remove the...

    Close to buying

Practically speaking I can't imagine a couple out by themselves thinking a 21' Yamaha isn't big enough.

    Close to buying

If you can afford it it's a no brainer. The 240 is a better boat but that's why it costs more.

    Good starter tube?

How do you keep the big mable from submarining when towing backwards. Kids wanted to try it backwards and I couldn't even get them going without it immediately swamping. Was I underinflated? Do I need to just tow from the tower?

7 Thing that non boaters do that annoy us

You guys are bigger men than me. I don't expect it but if they want to kick in a few bucks for the effort, I'm not turning them down.

    2019 212 limited S garage height requirements

You can adjust the stops on the retention cables pretty easily if you are small enough to contort yourself in the compartments. The stop is just a large washer on a bolt. You'll have an inch or two in room on the bolt from the factory. If you need more, you can completely remove the stop and...

    towing from the wake tower

I know many here do it, and Murphy's law of anything that can go wrong will/has gone wrong, but are there any catastrophic experiences towing a tube? When I search the topic it's just a mixed bag of I do it's fine and I don't because I prefer to play on the safe side. I tow a big mable with a...

    About to Buy

Mine didn't come off much but we did get a cover thrown in. The shipping cover that came with it is a beast to put on and I haven't even attempted the other cover. Our storage is completely covered and it's a short drive to the lake so I only plan on covering in the offseason with the shipping...

    Adding Gas Strut to tower

Are the X and Limited S towers a lot heavier in the 21 foots? My AR210 tower seems pretty light and is fairly easy to lower by myself.

    Looking to upgrade

I'd say AR240, but that's mostly because it's cheaper and offers more bang for my buck. Scarab offers higher performance engines and a more aggressive styling though so if you are into those things you may be willing to pay a premium for those things that Yamaha doesn't offer.

If only he’d had a second bilge pump ;)

I was surprised the guy with the bucket didn't keep at it. It looked like he was making some progress.

    2nd captains chair

The bow seat is slightly curved. Not sure how that would look but it may be fine.

    2nd captains chair

I don't think you can. At least not as easily as going from bench to chair. First, the consoles are different so I think you have to built something for the bench to mount to and second I don't think the vinyl on the AR bench would match the rest of your boat.

    New deck for swim platform

Except the Seadek is pre cut. I'm cheap and all but I know my attempts at cutting would create a horrible finish.

    AR210 weight?

If you are cutting close on tow capacity, keep in mind that fully fueled would add another 300lbs, and other gear adds up as well.
