    AR210 weight?

They used to list the dry weight with trailer on previous models. The trailer is probably around 1200 lbs so it would be around 4500 dry.

    Our new ‘19 Yamaha AR210

Congrats. Same boat as mine. The blue is really sharp.

Vortex 223 Twin Rotax How To Run On One Engine

Is the red handle/white valve you are describing the water intake for the down engine? They may limit speed in single engine mode to avoid ingesting water in the down engine even though there is a shutoff valve. Forgetting that valve and running at higher speeds would be a costly mistake...

Time for a new Wake Boat

That Super Air Nautique has a price tag of 179k. I've never priced one of those things because I can't afford any of them, but is that what they sell for? I just assumed that the market topped out in the around 120k

    Tower bolt stripped

You may be completely justified in your anger for lack of customer service, but all companies close from time to time during normal business hours for various reasons, and no they can't just do everything on Sunday. You calling one of those times isn't indicative of horrible customer service...

JetBoatPilot's New Surf Tech, Thrust Vector Wake

Ballast and surfing are definitely not my forte, but I followed the threads because I appreciate the ingenuity you guys have. In the world of surfing are weight ratings generally ignored? Even if you weren't talking about 1200 of lead, and it was just the stock 1100 ballast. On a 21' you got...

    Tower bolt stripped

Sounds like the dealership closed down one day for a company party? Businesses are allowed to do that. They may also have horrible customer service to boot, but I wouldn't necessarily hold them not being available one particular day against them.

Riding on the stern in an inlet

I am guessing its probably legal in some areas, but certainly not advisable.

Clean out plug blowout and engine flood. Help!

If it sucks 3.7 gal/minute why does it take you 4 minutes? :p

    2nd captains chair

It should be easy from a work perspective. The entire bench seating just pulls out. I don't know about easy on the wallet though.

The Little Prius that could ( transmission fluid & engine oil analysis after towing)

I must have stared at this post for 15 minutes before I realized you are only towing trailer only. I was thinking how and why did he modify his Prius to tow a boat.

Really weird issue need help. Engines overheating randomly Yamaha/Dealer says it’s not happening

Is that level of build up and corrosion consistent with what you'd expect to see with a freshwater flush only after a couple of years? Seems there could be other factors at play. The OP isn't the only person who followed the manual and freshwater flushed only.

    2nd captains chair

I didn't think I'd like the bench seating, but with 3 younger kids it makes the boat more practical. I would want the 2nd captains chair if it was mainly going to be adults on board though. Regardless it's a common request so you should be good with the dealer swap.

    212X vs 212S limited

I am looking into the limited S as well. Not going into for watersports so the X really isn't in the conversation. You can probably aftermarket part mod a limited S to an X level or even better with the price difference. From what I've read on wakesurfing one of the aftermarket products...

Larger FSH either 240 or 250 or 270

Exactly. Yamaha would need to develop new engines if they are going to make a serious offering in bigger boats. No one that's remotely tethered to reality is buying a twin SVHO 27' boat because of the reason you state.

    Two stupid questions......

Agree on the lockbox I never even thought about it. I think my biggest threat is forgetting keys at home so a spare set in the tow vehicle covers that.

    Hose connector

Yeah I figured unless you were tapping into a fire hydrant that it likely wouldn't provide enough water.

    Hose connector

Is there generally enough water pressure to attach a two way valve to run both engines at the same time?

    Thrust Vector advice

What's the benefit of not having them down when on plane? It seems to me that newer boats with their hull designs you would want more input even at speed because of the keels. I guess I understand if you have an older styled Yamaha and don't want to lose that classic jet boat feel, but the...

    Yamaha - Clean out ports <handles missing>

I'd reach out to the original owner and see what he did. Maybe it looks worse than it is, but if he did go as medieval as it looks he probably damaged beyond repair.
