    2019 Release coming soon!

Being able to leave on all day would easily put me in the wedge camp, but I think the vids and pics of the booster wakes are without ballast or at least without 700lbs on the swim deck which seems to be the standard for using the wedge. I don't really think it's apples and apples comparisons at...

    2019 Release coming soon!

The surfer looks better with the WakeBooster though, so it's still a toss up.

    NEW STUFF FROM YAMAHA RELEASED

I guess there is a pretty limited supply of the Wakebooster? If it actually works it's going to be in high demand so you better hope your dealer is smart enough to order enough. Seems like a weird strategy to roll out a product though.

    NEW STUFF FROM YAMAHA RELEASED

Surf pointe was on the 2018 X boats as well, so that's kind of old news.

    Mr1 vs tr1 ar210

The 210 lineup being underpowered comes from a time years ago when you could spend a bit more for twin 1.8s in the 212x or 212ss. Now there is a big gulf in between these models.

    2019 Release coming soon!

I agree the tower adds a sport look that's very appealing. For just general bowrider runabout stuff I think the Yamaha AR240 is still a great value, compared to the competition. All new 24' boats are going to be expensive, but I think the AR240 keeps costs down by not putting a lot of luxury...

    2019 Release coming soon!

Any review videos or write-ups on what the new reverse setup is supposed to do? Curious if Yamaha improved the situation or made matters worse by making them incompatible with JPBs LTs.

    2019 Release coming soon!

The AR240 is still hard to beat if you must go new. It's hard to judge because you will likely be paying MSRP or close to it for a new Yamaha, but probably not so with other manufacturers. It really depends on what you want to do. I mean you get a waketower but you aren't buying a wakeboat.

    2019 Release coming soon!

I'd only be disappointed if I were waiting on Yamaha to make a true wake experience, but in reality if they did it would probably be priced way too high and not really a good choice compared to the competition. Other than that I think the color schemes look good hopefully they don't continue to...

    Mr1 vs tr1 ar210

I believe that the 21' hulls were redesigned with more sound proofing when the TR1s were first introduced in 2017, so they probably win the noise test. No one really knows about the long term reliability, but I am sure they'll be fine. Yamaha has a pretty good track record with engine...

    2019 Release coming soon!

The price increase are unfortunately here to stay and clearly Yamaha is attracting a different market of boaters than they were 10 years ago. Just be glad you got great value out of your older model.

    2018 sx210 Review

That's a good review. I think the performance issues are just HP angst. People don't buy V6 pickups even though they can probably handle anything the average joe is going to need. Yamaha speeds have been trending down. I am assuming emission standards and hull designs come into play, but the...

Chap and Scarab going to 600 hp?!

I guess it's fun knowing it exists, but I have no desire to pay for a boat that can go 60+ mph. I would think more innovation in the watersports arena would yield bigger returns for jetboats.

    Ar195 or sx210

The 195 requires premium I believe as well so that's something to consider. They are really two different boats. 7+ people on board most of the time pretty much rules out a 19' boat IMO, but the 210 isn't going to offer you high performance either. No boat is really fuel efficient. Now the...

    2018 SX210 or 2016 212SS?

More power doesn't just mean being able to go 50mph. You are going to have better performance all around and it really becomes noticeable when you are loaded up with gear and people. Like in the example above you don't have to worry about going over 35mph with a TR1s and 6-10 people. You'll...

    2018 SX210 or 2016 212SS?

212SS hands down. You'll want the power with 2 families on board. Assuming the 58 hour version has no warranty, I would just opt for the one with the warranty if the prices are the same. The difference in hours is negligible.

    Another drowning....

I don't know who has legal responsibility, but I do know that at 27 you should be a lot smarter than that.

    Are these maintenance prices fair?

$800 to replace hose clamps seems a little excessive. Is this on top of your $650?

Air Filters - how often to replace?

Not a lot of dust on the water. A lot of people run without air filters.
