    For the crossing back home from Bimini - I got a nice bath towel and folded it a few times to get the right shape and set it on my seat, I didn't feel the metal in the seat anymore. Perhaps there's something more comfortable yet - like a gel filled car cusion - if the goo doesn't ooze out.

    Exactly. Have the correct batt switches on to keep the auto-bilge operational. That is in the manual. I had to hunt that down as the dealer gave me bogus info about where to put the batt switches. and I suspected they were full of it. There is batt combiner or separator in the factory setup...
