    JetBoaters.net Bimini Fling June 19 to 25 2016

Oh girl ! I'm glad your injury wasn't worse. Sometimes we forget how far from medical attention we are when we're trying to have fun. And I guess we also forget we're not invulnerable. 4 hours crossing on jet skis sounds grueling! Hooray for you guys. That does sound a little eerie...

I think I finally quieted my Yamaha!

Have y'all noticed that running without the bimini top deployed is way way quieter too...

Other than for losing your camera I hope you had a great trip and a great time! Sorry it didn't work out for you to come with the bigger group but I'm glad to hear you pulled it off.

We took her off the sales floor! And a huge shout out for St. Charles Boat and Motor

I think the only way to keep the OEM roller from harming the gelcoat is to throw it away. ;) I haven't tried the masking tape trick but I know I have to come up with something before next time. I'm too lazy to polish out the scratches - I have it at a detail shop now and they estimated...

Awesome !! I'm jealous already. I really wish I got that color scheme now. The blue is pretty but lots of work to maintain. Fenders dull the finish really quickly. The tow cover beats up the side of the boat on long hauls especially if its wet out - road grit gets between the cover and hull...

FYI. I just filled my boat for the first time with gas since the fling and I took 26 gallons for the crossing home from Bimini. 2026 AR240

    New shorelander trailer falling apart!

I got my new fenders and it looks like there's a little more radius in the bend to that fender brace. I haven't had a chance to compare side-by-side yet but maybe there's an improvement in the fenders. stay tuned. Btw. I am planning to get some radial tires on this since others have...

Longest Tow to the Bimini Crossing

It's probably not as bad as you could imagine to make this trip from out west. We started in Battle Ground, WA and it took us 3.5 days to get there with a couple rest area sleep breaks and a couple motel stops. I drove the whole way myself and pushed hard but not too hard. I'd encourage other...

    Scarab to Bimini?

Oops. I thought yours was the diesel. A friend of mine has one and he claimed the 5k tow capacity. Sorry for any confusion or misinformation. Several yamahas were towed with mid size suv's this year but if possible I'd prefer a pickup too for a long haul. All this talk about bimini '17 is...

I wish I was a teeny bit closer. For a short outing like this sounds to be - I'll have to pass. :(

I've wanted to go to Lake Powell (1200 miles) for a long time too - but never have. We have Shasta Lake much closer (450 miles) that I think is quite similar to Lake Powell. To be quite frank, after spending time in Bimini, I don't see myself planning a trip to Lake Powell. If we have the...

    Bimini 2016 photo/video thread

No question - for sure it was worth it, Especially considering it was the first time. For all the driving we had to do - I'd love to see a few more days on the trip - or even another week - I know that's hard for a lot of folks, so we would probably go with the majority... And so long as...

If we can go again I would like to get some fishing in. Took me two tries to get my one (and only) tuna. It was hella fun !
