    @A Z Native, funny you say that....my father-in-law is a phoenix resident working with the VA out there, so this is running a very close second to Florida, however, my wife really feels FL gives us a little more to do with a young family...thoughts?

    Looks like Im late to the party on this thread, however, I need to get he spectrum kit for a scratch that was put on my boat at the end of last season. Is this kit pretty easy to work with? I have the suede grey and want to this asap in case of any color fade...what should i know and what tools...

    @mattschepker did you cover it with carpet or just leave it the way it is? I already had that in my shopping cart....just did the buy, how did you mount the board?

    Can never guarantee there'll be nothing rough going on!! I found a 24 x 48 hdpe board on amazon that could be cut to size, thoughts?

    Am I missing anything here? I was going to use a cutting board (plastic) for the mount behind the helm...what size should i get that can be cut down to size or should i get a standard one and use mounting brackets?

    damn!! haha, ill get this figured out eventually, is there anywhere online to find yamaha owners manuals so I can check the correct octane? Update...i found and downloaded the owners manual, it says the boat should be run on regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 86...but...

    Im trying to keep it pretty simple at first, my plan is to mount the amp at the helm and run the power/ground back to the battery. from there i think any additions might be a little easier to set up

    lots of the parts i ordered are now arriving, just waiting on some additional speaker wire and ill be ready to plan the install.... @robert843, where did you mount it hat it caused problems?
