Jeez. that's crazy! He didn't even hook up the chain! It's just dragging on the ground behind him, carelessly! ?

Fascinating, especially for tech geeks like me. And if you're a self professed tech geek and haven't read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", boating season is over for most of us - go get yourself all four books in the trilogy (yep!) and start reading!

What are you watching on TV? Favorite Shows? <name the service used>

As expat Canadians, we've enjoyed The Crown. Just started watching this season and it's crap by comparison. Past seasons have been fascinating because of the history - yeah, they filled in the blanks with conjecture but the emphasis seemed to be on the historical events. The latest series (so...

Heck, we had a milk box in the front wall of our apartment - that my dad would send me through to open the front door when he forgot the keys. And the last one! Oh, I remember that one - for me and especially my brother. Happened more than once to him! (The foundation for the response our kids...

House on the water or near it?

You remind me of when we'd rent a place for a week. The compulsion to DO something every day because that's what all the $ was for and thus sitting around and "waiting until tomorrow was not an acceptable option. Also gone is the mental checklist of "what do I absolutely need to have with us...

Throttle Super Tight on 2012 SX210

Oh! I like the beeswax idea! I know that's where the water intrusion and subsequent rust originated on mine - took one a part out of curiosity. Was trying to come up with a sealant that would work...

Throttle Super Tight on 2012 SX210

Just did cables on our 2012 (again). We're in brackish water. Boat out of the water for an extended period this winter and one of the 2 throttle cables, a couple of years old was rock solid frozen. The other I got to move eventually but replaced out of concern. Quite easy but time consuming...

Old Fusion out; new Fusion in

Need to do the same thing for exactly the same reason. Where did you get the backing plate to convert from the DIN opening of the previous/factory HU? And presumably the new one talks to the stern remote with the same NMEA2000 connector?

Haha @zipper, brings back memories! My then 2 1/2 year old daughter was SO proud of the picture she drew for me! On the side of the car... With a rock. (Fortunately it was the beater Mazda 626 I used for commuting to work and not the almost brand new minivan!)

I'll add this to my own post, save you the trouble:  (If you're not old enough to remember the Monkees, or their songs... Google will be your friend.)

    Lucky Couple Here!

Bummer! It must be torture to wait. If it's any consolation, it seems to have been a crappy spring for lots of us. Every year we say we're going to put the boat in early and this year instead is one of the latest - commitments, weather, temperature. Yuck. (Good luck with Covid...)
