Boat burned up at the marina

It was 67 degrees today. Went to check on the boat at Baldridge Marina. Saw the smoke from a few docks over, then the flames! Lots of people standing in the next slips staring at it, trying to untie the closest boats. I kept waiting for the explosion of 50 gallons of gas to go up. Some marina...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

I didnt notice you were on lanier too. I usually have the same problem, solo foilng is hard to do. I keep my boat at baldridge marina. I have my mast 1/4 of the way back. Not sure what number setting without looking. We tried full fw and it was squirrelly. I love to try out the 76 for sure...

Totally not boat related, but has anyone tried the slingwing? Or windsurf foiled? The YouTube rabbit led me to some amazing video. I'm headed to the outter banks in a few weeks gonna find a place and rent a windfoil.

Ride steady and a foil, match made in boater heaven!

To Foil or Not to Foil...

I second that as well. Long rope, clean water, learn how the foil works with out worrying about the wake. Once you can fly it for a long run, start playing with mast placement. I was amazed what a difference it made moving from full aft to full forward. I'm about ready to buy another full...

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

Finally got around to putting the home made foil back on the board. Moved it to the most forward position. It helped enough to get it to fly. But holy crap, a hover glide is is NOT! Twitchy, hard to ride and has some really strange harmonic vibrations. But I can say I made it and it works...
