Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

Can i get that wing on my fuselage? Or do I need a new stab wing and mast too? I would love to buy a whole new set up and dual foil with the kids.

Foil Boarding - Loyal to the Foil

After watching some of those videos, I tries a double rope to get to the 2nd wave. Very cool. With a bigger wing it would be easy. Its so quiet way back there, but there is so much slop in the rope tension

Do what you have to, when you have to. Do it the best way you can, and do it that way every time.

    2018 AR240 for 50k or the brand new AR250 for 61k

Id find out the out the door price. And what comes with the used and add that to the new one and the ride steady. New is nice and all. But 11k buys a lot of thw upgrades you'll need/want.

What did you do to your boat today?

Scrubbed the sea deck today.what a difference. Got these brushes from amazon. Takes all the work out of it . Also installed the stainless steel scupper valve.

    Almost sunk my boat

I read about 4200 vs 5200 while looking into all this. 5200 is quite permanent and hard. 4200 says softer for bits like this that may need to be removed someday. But I'd hope the stainless model will not need to be messed with for a long time.

    Almost sunk my boat

I have all all those plugs open to drain into the bilge, but now I am considering closing everything while it sits in a slip to contain a leak. I rarely use the ski locker except for noodles. But then you're back to the self bailing issue if you take on water from waves or rain

    Hydrophase Ridesteady - SR210

Or get a foil. But thats a thread hijacking! Ridesdeady is the bomb. Oh no, i said hijack and bomb in the same post...I'm on some list now. Back to the boating!

    Almost sunk my boat

Anchor hole plug. The total length is bigger than the hull thickness. This drain makes little sense to me as well. It's to high up in the locker to drain the anchor area. And the lip makes draining harder. I'd think about plugging this hole.

    Almost sunk my boat

Now, what about the hole in the anchor locker? Mine only has a plastic bit going thru no valve at all. I need to stick the gopro in there and see how much water can come in at low speeds. Are there any more of these boat sinkers hidden somewhere?

    Almost sunk my boat

Cranked it with the plug open. No water. Doesn't seem to be any in the oil, but both are drained. And just to reiterate what has been stated before "what moron engineer madethe oil filter set up?" They obviously never changed oil on anything!

    Almost sunk my boat

It seems like the plastic get brittle with age. So it just when not if. As for length, longer is ok since you could trim the hose down if needed or just push the extra forward thru the hole. Here is the hose from the engine side. It drains the back of the deck.

    Almost sunk my boat

There was water from the bilge to the ski locker. Idled to the boat ramp so I could pull it out. The water level only came up to the dip stick for a bit....but I'm sure thats too long. I'll be doing all the rest today. Is that port supposed to have a oneway valve on it? Or juat connected to a...
