    Brass Drain plug install

No doubt but make sure you check for an obstruction inside the port drain. That was my biggest gripe. The little plastic tab on the plug kept hitting the obstruction and made it nearly impossible to get the drain plug in correctly without a great deal of effort. The obstruction is actually the...

Made a Transducer mount for my FSH..

I'll be the first to admit that I thought trying to stick Starboard to anything with an adhesive (5200 or epoxy) alone in such a harsh environment was a futile endeavor. Some of you seem to be proving me wrong. Good for you, keep us posted long term, and I like it!

IS ANYONE NOT HAVING WATER/LEAK ISSUES?

One of the many holes you are going to have to drill. I drilled port and starboard sides as neither of them drained down to the bilge. I just went sideways into the engine bay but I guess you could carefully go straight down or maybe out the back.

    Battery switches

Thanks, that was what I was thinking but wasn't sure without a schematic. Obviously, lights the indicator light as well.

    Battery switches

Yep, seems pretty common. "Common" get it? :winkingthumbsup" I need to dig up a VSR wiring diagram (not how to wire it but how it's wired internally) and see if that little wire actually does anything other than complete the circuit to light up the little, "Start battery full--now charging house...

    Fender location and attaching

No kidding, right? Gotta love this site.

    Fender location and attaching

Another viable option. Don't remember the brand but easy to find. Bass Pro for these.

    Fire Extinguisher Mounting Location

@Tonkatoy, I like that spot. I think I'll throw one up there.

Rod holder replacement. You won't believe the hidden junk.

Just got back from two weeks up there. My nephew bagging a nice Northern off my FSH.

    Battery switches

Agree with Julian, parallel switch should not be needed. Only for a dead or weak starting battery situation. First though, check to make sure that the little wire that has a label on it that reads something like, "This wire must be connected to the common negative post" is actually connected...

Made a Transducer mount for my FSH..

Yes, do post a photo of it mounted and let us know how it does. Most of us with the factory trailer have the single RH bunk board right where you're mounting your transducer. You might be right behind the livewell thru-hull fitting. Hopefully no turbulence from that. Best of luck.

Seriously considering the 2016 FSH 190 Deluxe

Might wanna fine tune that speech-to-text thingy. ;) Not being mean, just couldn't help myself.

    Bilge pump switch getting hot

Inspect/Clean the terminals on the back first. If they are at all corroded...corrosion = resistance = heat.

    190 fsh recall

I figured that was probably the case. Since I hadn't really looked at my boat head on at night, you peaked my curiosity so I just opened the garage door and took this really crappy, grainy cell phone photo standing in my driveway, about 25' in front of my boat. Both lights are visible. I'm...

    190 fsh recall

Don't have my Chapman's handy or know the exact regs by heart I'm but not sure if agree with that or maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying. Either way, the whole point is not to see both lights at the same time unless you are heading straight on. Seeing only one light is exactly what...

    Trolling motor help

Put it where YOU like it. Keep it as close to centerline as possible and the side to side weight won't matter.

    190 fsh recall

I think you'll find quite few folks who have mounted a receptacle in the cover where the light normally sits and then have added a new set of pole mounted stowable nav lights. That solves the problem of a bow mounted trolling motor blocking the surface mounted light.

My "no" issue anchor locker! (from the factory!)

It's actually not solid. What you're seeing is that on yours, Yamaha actually put enough sealant in that area when they set the deck on to the hull that the sealant filled the gap. Therefore, no gap hole when they drilled for the drain. Either way, it's sealed so you are one step ahead of the...
