Table Rock Lake, June 8-12 2016

Well I've been watching this thread, but I realize now that I can't be on the water much this summer, especially early. We got a 7 week old puppy we're raising up and don't want her on the boat and she's too young to leave with someone for very long... so I'm out. Especially bummed about...

    Turning Radius

Someone should make a toung in cheek answer video about how much better the Yamaha ladder is actually designed and implemented. The Chap looks like a nice boat though.

    Turning Radius

This whole campaign is just haterism. I mean really, the ladder in the center is worse than the ladder off to the side? It's just different... WTH!

Please help to diagnose the engine problems with LS2000

Both of my 135hp motors shake like crazy. I really avoid 2000rpm but they both run great. The ski guys talk about how shaky they are too. Speedling, what do you think the biggest improvement you made was?

    ls2000 oil light

Try filling the oil? On my motorcycle when I come to a stop the oil light flickers and I know that it's time to add oil.

Trailer Bunk Boards - warning, warning Will Robinson...

If you lower the trailer hitch end (front). Crib up the back of the boat. Then raise the hitch end and crib under the front of the boat, you'll have the trailer free of the boat on dry land. It only takes about 15 min to do up and then you can take your time and not have to worry about other...

Is that mostly in the James arm or all over? Are there web resources to help monitor what's happening? Thanks, Matt

    Lake Check in thread?

I thought about making a Tablerock lake checkin thread for people to post if they are headed to the lake when and where type of deal. It would mostly be for people that regular, but any visitor would benefit. Is this appropriate? If so should it be in destinations or gatherings? It seems...

I was there Sunday and the lowrance said 67 to 70 degrees in the James and the white arms. I jumped in... Didn't regret it the second time.

    Installing a 2nd bilge on an LS2000

Good job! It's nice to have some piece of mind and satisfaction from a job well done.

    Windshields/ horn cover

Good for you. That's pretty lucky on the windshields.

    Wet slip bilge battery etc

You're right if you don't have a leak and the bilge never actually pumps. Personally I added a back up bilge and mechanical float switch hardwired to the battery. If both of mine are running that would be around 4 amps...

    Wet slip bilge battery etc

How many amps is the tender and how many amps do you think both your bilge pumps will pull when pumping? Just sayin' Sir Issac Newton has a way with things.

    Installing a 2nd bilge on an LS2000

You're right that it's very hard to reach, but it's not impossible. I layed on my belly on the sun pad did a head stand on a cushion and reached up in there with my left hand. Either way be sure to remove the tray lid to get the best access. Btw I'm 6'2" and this might not have worked if I was...

Trailer Bunk Boards - warning, warning Will Robinson...

That exact thing happened to me. My clue was the metal brace actually broke loose on the way home. Everyplace I checked had been decent, but both boards broke when I removed them. Sometimes I guess it's better to be lucky than good.

Elite 4 HDI Install Advice and Writeup

I did this a month or two ago. Since the hole is above the waterline I don't see much to worry about. I added a backup bilge at the same time. The bilge is powered by a mechanical float that is connected to the battery and also a switch that I installed at the helm. So had a new power supply for...

@mattschepker he was riding a newer 3 or 4 seater blue Yamaha wave runner. It seemed like his dock was right across from PoK. Yes 200' min anchor length!

I'd like to visit you all. We usually use the Aunt's Creek access so we hang at the Swings ALL the time. When a plan is formed on where you'll be it would be cool if you posted it here so that I could "track down" where all the Jet Boaters are at. BTW: A guy on a newer jet couch stopped and...
