    First post & Initial Impressions 2015 AR240

I know I'm about 6 months late to the party, but I'm new to Connext and am wondering if the fuel gauge is unreliable, does it at least count the gallons used accurately?

    Override in Reverse for E-Series

I agree the neutral detent could be more obvious. I know the tachs tell you what gear you're in but that info is hard to read. These "ruddered" boats still feature TDE mode at idle which was another detent I could clearly feel with the cabled throttles. The new boats just go into forward and...

    Quick review of the 242LSE

OK fixed that. Going to rig a flag for the fourth so I'll be sure to post a pic. OK here's your pic!

    Quick review of the 242LSE

Moved into an LSE from a '13 AR240 and previously had an '09 SX210, so I guess that makes me one of Yamaha's biggest fans! Favorite features are the E-series bimini which is the best in the business and the long overdue single lever auto-syncing throttle as well having some off-throttle steering...

Problems with battery drain on my 242X

With all the cables connected directly to the two batteries and three battery switches, it would be very easy for even our "expert" dealers to make a connection that would result in a current draw. A wiring diagram sure would be helpful - anyone got one?

Humm from both engines with key on (engines off) in E-Series boat

The "key" difference is when the engines are shut off on the e-series certain systems have been left "on" versus turning the standard key off which shuts these things off (as the e-series does when the key is turned off). I doubt there is any real need to be concerned about the activated...

Humm from both engines with key on (engines off) in E-Series boat

242LSE definitely hums with the key on, doubt it's the fuel pump, sounds like something to do with the ignition/ECU being on - just learning also!

    Black 242 Limited S E-series

Best looking Yamaha ever (but I might be biased since I'm taking delivery of the same boat in a couple of weeks)! Are you planning to keep the bimini permanently deployed since you can use the boat all year down there? (jealous)

    Precursor to the jetski?

60 mph and steered by body weight - what could possibly go wrong? (at least it probably slows down quick with the prop and all!)

    Pulled the Trigger on a 16 242X!!

My dealer was aggressively trying to fleece me on my 2013 AR240 trade-in... curious what kind of deal you got?

    New owner questions on 2016 242 Limited S E-series

Curious about this too - and that similar one on the starboard side near the pee holes?

Well, honestly, still dues to health and freezin' cold (47 deg feels like 20 to me -

Mikey - love your enthusiasm, any pictures where we can see the headroom clearance at the front of the bimini? Just "reserved" the same boat in black for use next year, so any review of the new e-features would be great!
