That tube is a steal! And when it gets destroyed after two or three seasons, return to to Costco for a full refund.

    Yamaha covers in stock

I paid $599 for a 2008 sx230 oem cover in winter 2019 from leaders rpm. I had to search long and hard for it, however. Was actually better than the original, as the ratchet cover was actually a nice plastic box and not just fabric as the original. It was an original for sure, complete with...

    Indoor HD antenna

Super responses, as expected and thanks to all. Being the cheap ass I am, I will try the $10 one @drewkaree and go from there. Especially since I got DIsh to give me a $50 credit for it since they continue to screw us over with losing local channels and more important the NBC sports channel...

    Indoor HD antenna

Sick of Dish's BS getting rid of a few local channels but I conned a $50 credit out of them to buy an indoor antenna. I see many on amazon for under 50 bucks. Anyone have success with one or the other? Obviously a ton to choose from so here I am, going to the experience rather than having to...

Hose clamp instead of shutoff valve

Always wondered.. what hose are we shutting down if we have to get towed? The hose leading into the Y fitting? Or one of the 2 coming off the Y fitting?

Ok, fess up. Which dad on here let his daughter and friends borrow the boat?

Oh my....not mine..she was loading my LS on the trailer at 10, and now lands jets at 21. Bigger girls bigger toys...

    Vinyl seat cleaner

I've been touting Totally Awesome since before this board started. Yet, folks insist on spending 5 times as much for a specialty product that is no better. To each his own, but TA is the best. Here's my old plug from 7 years ago https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/100668010

    Slim Pick'ins

The one Mark posted is a reasonable price, and a solid boat. It will blow away an single engine and the 210 and it is close by. I'd give it a good look. I've bought both my Yamahas of the forums (well the older forum not this one) because I could read the posts and learn how well the boat was...

    Slim Pick'ins

It is a bad time to buy a used boat. I can get probably 35-40 percent more on my boat than my purchase price used in Spring 2013 when theboat had 27 hours on it. Wait 2 years for when all the morons who raced to buy a boat during the pandemic realize it was a dumb move, and swoop in for the...

    New Speakers for 2008 SX230

Whatever you buy, buy them off amazon and get the $7.99 3 year asurion warranty so when they go bad, you will get your money back in the form of an amzon gift card for the price of the speakers. It is a revolving door where you can replace your speakers every 2 or 3 years after they fail.

    Tubing "Accidents"

An old one......10 years ago on the LS 2000....broke my shoulder on the wreck at 4.07! Riding a hotdog at 40 mph is not a smart thing to do. or more recent.....same kids just kids ten year older! and they now have tik tok...

I’m thinking about selling my boat / getting out of boating

I am lucky I am unspoiled. Boat on an empty river. Empty ramp. Maybe 3 times a season now. Yea, I should sell too but it's paid for and when we do go, it is turn the key and take off. BUt if I were you? Sell now before th emarket turns....and it will turn in a year or so when dummies who...

Looking to buy my first jet boat *Update*

Watch your back. You just committed felony theft. Probably a warrant out for you!

Didn't know it was this inexpensive but..

so happy I switched from Boat US (raised premiums dramatically ever since Geico butted into their business) to Progressive. Progressive only charges $30 per year for on water towing and trailer coverage is included!

Skip the boat. Not worth the hassle. Do something else. Plenty "else" to do.

Watercraft Harbor - Web Application Launch

Looks nice. But not for me. 10 bucks a month for my Yamaha maintenance logs? April. New plugs. spring check out. October. Change oil. WInterize. Replace crappy polk speakers every two years. Repeat year after year. Ahh the beauty and simplicity of an older model Yamaha Jet Boat. On the...

Do Not Lend Your Vehicle out to anyone

@Garrett C Good idea to increase coverages, but speaking from 30 plus years in the business that may have been enough 20 years ago but is not enough now. Truly, the increase in coverage amounts is not that much more premium, I suggest checking it out by shopping around. And if your state...
