Since this is the 80's I hope it isn't the Polybutylene (blue pipe) water line issue. If it is you may have to replumb the house as well as the main going to the house.

    1989 grand wagoneer

Could also be vapor lock. Any chance the fuel lines are not routed right. I always do a tune up first so I can check the plugs and insure that the ignition section is good. Eliminates caps, plugs, wires etc. Jack the car up and grab the tire top and bottom and try to wiggle it. You will feel...

    Need real estate advice

If the house is in her name and the mortgage there is no problem. If there was a will that will typically drive the estate division. If there is no will and no clear ownership the estate has to go to probate (at least in most states). It doesn't sound like the son has any legal rights. I would...

    Need real estate advice

I must be missing something. If the son is not on the deed there is no need for a quick deed. If the son is not on the mortgage and only the wife and husband again no issue. The son is not biological (or adopted?) and there is no will he will typically not be in line for anything. The wife...

    Wax hull or no wax?

I always waxed the hull. Use a good wax and it will help with the scum.

    Jeep Wrangler Rubicon pricing...

We have had many jeeps and my wife loves them as well. We have a Rubicon 2 door auto and love it but have had several Wrangles (2 and 4 door). We prefer the 2 door for playing around and I just think they look better. If you don't plan on doing real off road stuff and she will be mostly...

    Need real estate advice

There has to be a deed somewhere proving who own's the property. Usually you can find this on-line. If there is a will that is best and will determine most decisions. If there is no will then in most states (at least the ones I live in) this goes to probate court for settlement. The wife...

    Kid's first accident

Sorry to hear about accident but glad she is OK. I completely understand about blended families and all the complications (lived and living that!). Anything can be fixed but I suspect there is more damage then meets the eye. Perhaps you can approach this by suggesting a newer SUV with more...

    Blisters with wet slip

We had ours in water for 4 years before we got a lake house with it' sown slip. No blisters. It did get dirty so we had to clean the hull good about three times a year.
