    AR192 Budget Stereo 2x 12" Subs!

I have one of my subs under the seat and added a vent, night and day diff....especially once you tune it and the sub breaks in fully. I have an extra vent, made of starboard if your looking for one PM me....I bought 2 of them but my other sub is in the large port storage and the vent isnt...

    Ar195 bow subwoofer enclosure

That does look pretty sick...eliminates the lack up bass up front once you get it dialed in!

Need (want?) a new pick up to tow

I like the Jeep SRT...but think it could be a lil tight on the space inside vs the Denali. Gonna go look in next couple weeks...that Ram is still up there. Since I prefer to lease this truck the residual and money factors play a big role in the final price, well see what they come back with.

    2016 242X Sound System Build

Pretty slick...what did it costs to get the cans sprayed...I wouldnt mind those having some contrasts?

    Boat music

@Drift Away I certainly had it blasting all over Lake Havasu last season....I found a ton of dope latin music from that song that we love...helps bridge the gap between the hip-hop and rap I bump.

    2016 242X Sound System Build

I def agree that JL is built tough, and often underrated, just saying putting power in excess of what they need to sound great, vs putting that power to the M series speakers would be a better use of the money your paying for the ability to channel the most power efficiently. You'd be sending...

    2016 242X Sound System Build

@Mainah I agree the bigger the better for the batteries, but somehow I've managed to avoid the dreaded low batt signal the last 2 years using the group 29s. Im using some regular Pep Boys Marine deep cycle batteries, nothing fancy and got them for a lovely price so although I don't mind...

    2016 242X Sound System Build

@DJMattyT Im running two group 29 batteries with a shore charger tied in. I've had them the last 2 years with no problems, and will be swapping them out this year along with a more robust charger to handle the demand, I noticed it would take forever to top off the batteries after a long day on...

Need (want?) a new pick up to tow

We like the Jeep, but this is my first pickup and Im hooked, love the bigness (not a word) and people are willing to let me over when I signal, lol Maybe will go check them out to see about size. Prob gonna end up extending my lease a few months to give me some time to fix it out, not sure...

Need (want?) a new pick up to tow

@2kwik4u im the same, if it dont have a sunroof I prob wont buy it...something about looking up and seeing the blue sky or stars makes it appealing. It also helps with ventilation and similarly Ive never had one that leaked and ive been through dozens of vehicles. I got my mom a lexus NX F...

How Geico and Synchrony let me down

This is pretty interesting, I had a smilisr situation with Synchrony when I paid off my last boat, there was a overpayment and although it wasnt as large as what your due, they werent nearly as slow...prob a few weeks tops!

2018 212 Limited S question (first time be gentle)

@Bennie hit it on the nose... I co-owned my first yamaha with a buddy and we got lucky on a 2011 demo 242LS...loved it, had all the options, kept it almost 5 yrs, no issues... always knew I would stay with the brand so when my buddy wanted out on that one my dealer gave me another deal on a...

    2016 242X Sound System Build

Exactly @adrianp89 those speakers are absolute monsters and thirst for power. I'm just wondering how you will wire up the towers and M770s efficiently with that power, I'm sure it will sound nice and loud, but you got the some of the best speakers so another amp down the road isn't a bad idea...

Another AR240 Stereo Upgrade Thread - Several Questions

I absolutely LOVE mine, they are mounted right above my throttles and with the bass I have there are times when I want to turn it down/off, I also have a set on my tower speakers so I can adjust both independently. You can also add them later, but when I'm out late just hanging on the boat I...

    2016 242X Sound System Build

How do you think youll wire it all up....I saw 2 amps and 20 speakers, lol Just curious how you plan to divy up the power since you went with M series stuff. Those speakers can take well over 75rms. Will you mount both subs on the same side?

Another AR240 Stereo Upgrade Thread - Several Questions

Sounds like a nice system in the works... This was a similar approach to my 1st phase 18 months ago...the MX650s sound nice on the 800/8, and the sub will sound great. If you know your talking about a phase 2 so you might wanna just run the 0 guage power & ground wire. Besides that the...

    Mid-Cabin Speaker Placement--Opinions Appreciated

Those speaker rings look pretty sweet...at the very least u should get a slight bump in volume if you can point them optimally to elevate the sound some.

    Mid-Cabin Speaker Placement--Opinions Appreciated

Not sure if youll reallly hear any differences either way, so flip a coin or go with what the wife thinks. I have my M770s in the lower position, had I thought it out might have toyed with diff placemnt but anything besides up high near the throttles isnt gonna make a huge diff for the two...

    Stern "beaching" setups

Solid advice on this thread about a subject we all experience on a regular. Transom of the boat is by far one of the main reasons lots of us buy, so anchoring towards the stern is a must. I think the shore spike is a must, using that along with a danik hook gives you easy solution bow or...
