    Dealer replaced the latch and added two additional bungee straps. Engine hatch has not involuntarily flown open at all since.

    That sucks man. Do you have a picture that is farther away so I can get a point of reference? I want to check my hatch out in the same location. I don't know about you but I feel the hatch flying open could launch a small kid from the rear seat....Scarab will care then.
