    Top Speed Issues

Check your speed with a good GPS. 42 mph may be a bit off, the speedo has an adjustment feature behind the dash.

Broke a screw in fiberglass. How do i remove?

Just having fun, but if you have a dremel, use a tapered grinding bit, take it down below the surface and patch it. The screw is stronger than a void.

    Considering purchase... insight wanted

Best of luck to you. Looks like a great deal if you can snag it at that price. Check it out from stem to stern before you buy, but if it's as good as it looks I think you'll be fine

    Disappointed

That doesn't sound right. Let's fix that.

    Access doors...

I'll take a wild guess and say the door is about 10" wide and 12 -14" tall. I'll be out there next week and can get an exact measurement for you. They make all different sizes. I added one to the port side under the cup holders, next to the seat: West Marine sells them...

    Help me spend my $$$$!!!

The first thing I would ask you is have you and the family been boating together lately? I ask only because I've seen a unique phenomenon occur when a couple buys a boat before they are certain it's the right thing for their family. I met a fellow who had a similar story - his folks had a boat...

    Boat slow tonight

@Nick Hughes , it's not that hard...you can do it with a few simple things. You may already have a mask and snorkel or have a friend who can lend those to you. And you may even have a scotch pad or two laying around - otherwise pick up a few the next time you go to a hardware or home supply...

Bada Bling and What are your rules?????

OK, so sometimes we DO invite guests out on the boat. Typically it will be for 3 or 4 days...we get a suite and provide the food and drink. If the guests want to bring something, that's fine too. Typically I'll go over a few basic things on the first day and that usually covers it. First and...

Wait...what?.. You guys let other people on your boats??

Dumb question about where to tie anchor line to the boat

I recommend that you pick up a couple of Danik Hooks, one for the bow, one for the stern. It makes life soooo much easier if you anchor in an area wherel the water levels raises or lowers during the course of an afternoon. Simply slide the line through the hook to adjust the length.

How often do you wash your boat?

Every time we come off the water I wash the boat with the water from the coolers. ;) It's usually so hot that by the time the boat is dry, so is the ground. :winkingthumbsup"

    @help blinking check engine lights

Happened to me once Actually, a few times. Low battery. I was running outlaw at night, leading the way back down the river with all my tower lights on so we didn't hit the notoriuos sandbars that pop up at night when the water level drops Typically I get just outside the marina....when I...

    Gotta Brag....

Well hell! You should be! Only thing that would've impressed me more is if you told her, "Hard to port" and she didn't give you the blank stare:thumbsup:

    In My "House"

Ha,ha...I did that at a gas station in Barstow last month..... I was filling up (not towing) and there was a Yammie at a pump...I strolled by and tossed one on the swim step. Got back in my van and watched one of the guys find the football and he was looking all around to see where it might...

Tower up or down for towing?

On behalf of jetboaters forum I apologize for those bastards having hurt your feelings. If it happens again, let me know. It's been a while, but I can still kick some ass.
