    Bimini 2015 - July 6th to 11th

We would be all in on the dolphin/shark experience. We have seen a few sharks while scuba diving, not many. No dolphins...

In our 4' seas we averaged about 25 mph if I recall correctly.

Those are about the most ideal conditions I've seen on a crossing. Doing this crossing four years now, 8 crossings, I've only seen that kind of laid down seas twice. @andy07sx230ho can attest that we have crossed in 4-6' seas. My wife counted over 200 times that our heavy boat left the water...

Come to Milwaukee, I was in and out in 30 minutes for 2 people. Left with SVRS number in hand.

That request has already been made. It was made for last year's trip also, and no one was there to meet us. It took a trip to the airport and some long waits to clear through. Hopefully this year things go smoother faster.

As posted in the other thread, I have received the immigration forms. I'll pass them out at the captain's meeting.

However, the captain of each boat should be filling out the customs forms before hand for their boat. That form can be downloaded and printed out.

No, they have to be done on the original form. I have over 100 of them. Should be enough for everyone. They'll be distributed at the captains meeting.

I'd also be very careful approaching that area. Planes are very light and wave action could easily push the plane quite a distance. It would be a shame to smack it at speed if it's in shallow water!

If I'm reading Andy's post correctly, the gps coordinates on the left are of the observing aircraft, the coordinates on the right are the target's.

I do think they look awesome!

Landing strip LED lights on the trailer

Red would be illegal since they would be visible from the front and sides. The question is would it be enforced.

Landing strip LED lights on the trailer

Amber would be legal. And no I wouldn't pull you over, but some uptight state trooper sure would.

Landing strip LED lights on the trailer

White and Amber only, visible from the front. Only red visible to the rear. Clearance lamps are allowed to be Amber, visible to the side.

BTW, that's a trunk full of illegals on the back of the cutter under the tarp. They were very curious who we were, etc. They tracked us for at least 20 miles while they were paralleling the coast and we were inbound. They plotted our course and perfectly intercepted me. If I had not throttled...

    Bimini 2015 - July 6th to 11th

Well, for instance, the first year of the crossing we were intercepted by the coast guard about 15 miles out. They checked registrations, etc. I'm sure that's a searchable database available to US homeland security. I'm sure it can be done, but why risk not reporting in to US Customs and...
