    When my wife and I do covert ops, we have a FLIR like that on our boat. There's nothing like looking at green boobs through a FLIR camera.:) But a normal radar mount would be enough so I thought the FLIR thing funny. Good show so far.

    Nope . I hold the chain away from the bow when I drop and retrieve. But our lake is only 20' deep so I don't use more than 5' of chain and then rope to tie off.

    Sounds like some internal vibration. Something could be loose in the engine bay or it could be one of the panels that closes off the engine bay from the storage areas next to the engines.

    Just asking, Did you install spark resistant air filters? I thought a part of removing the ribbons was keeping the boats USCG compliant with spark arresting that the ribbons used to take care of. I bought I think K&M filters that are supposed to be spark arrestors.

    Subwoofer Location

    If you are going to have a speaker cover over the sub, check that the cover mounts flush before you cut the hole. Someone else here had to do some extra finishing to fill in the gap between the cover and the side where the sub was mounted.

    You could always drill a hole in the bottom, fill it and plug the hole. I have no idea what the liquid is but its not straight water.
