Unscrew and fill the hole. Some use 3m 5,200. I used white epoxy.

    Port engine milky oil 2006 AR210 MR1

I wouldn't be concerned about 530 hours at all. I'm on the 15th season on mine and would imagine that I have 1,000 hours give or take. I have a YDS cable coming next week so I'll know for sure. Mine purr like kittens. The only thing I do is change the oil and plugs every year.

Anyone controlling their stereo from a smartwatch?

I've got a fitbit sense with the spotify app. I can control spotify via the fitbit. We also have a floating pouch for iPhone that can control everything via the Fusion app.

    Port engine milky oil 2006 AR210 MR1

You can roll the dice on SBT. You can definitely find one with low hours significantly cheaper. VX 110 and other models with 110 or 1100 I believe would have that engine 2006 might be a sweet spot.

    Towing 19ft boat

You need a 1 ton dual axle diesel truck at a minimum. You need to be at 10% of the rated capacity just as a safety measure. I'm joking.

I’d love to speak to someone from Yamaha boat

I believe Yamaha has sold all they can make for years and years. Now is no different. Demand has gone up and the supply chain has probably tightened things. I don't believe they will ever invest to the point of over producing unless it's because demand has gone down.

Will gas prices effect your summer boating/trip plans?

It's a zero sum game. Reserve oil goes to refinery, and other oil slated for refinery goes abroad, or visa versa. It's a global market. 1M barrels/day from strategic reserve isn't going to have an impact. It's just optics.

    Port engine milky oil 2006 AR210 MR1

Yep. SBT seems to be one, if not the one, of the only games in town. I have no data to back this up other than seeing posts for 14 years, but I think the margin for error is so tight on the MR1s that they are extremely difficult to rebuild and get longevity. I would be leery of a fixing a...

    Port engine milky oil 2006 AR210 MR1

If the blocked is cracked that is bad news. Usually it's a manifold. Personally I would look for a used, good running ski with the same engine vs SBT.

    Port engine milky oil 2006 AR210 MR1

I agree that it looks milky. I would bet that a plug change cures the rpm drop, but I would change the oil a couple of times until it's clear and start from that baseline to determine if milky. My oil goes from clear to slightly black with age, not brown.

Flooded Engine in Bad Storm - 2022 195S

Said he took waves over the bow. Stock bilge pump is a feel good measure. It could only keep up with minimal water intrusion. Even an upgraded bilge could be overwhelmed and not keep up.

Jetboat capsizes on the Hudson killing two

Yep. I wasn't expecting to see them going that fast. I'm sure if someone would have posted to be careful that the boat could nose dive and instantly flip over that some folks wouldn't believe it.

Jetboat capsizes on the Hudson killing two

Here is a video of the accident. They said no ferry or any other vessel was near to make a wake. The must have been loaded up front and an inexperienced driver going to fast. The conditions weren't great but to be honest didn't look that bad if you had some caution...

Jetboat capsizes on the Hudson killing two

2700 lbs. and at max full tank plus gear. 50g gas 300 lbs. Even at 400 more lbs of gear that's 166 lbs per person. There were women and children. With that said, they could have been overloaded in the front, but all of this is speculation. No doubt they took on water and couldn't recover...

Jetboat capsizes on the Hudson killing two

I think the bottom line that nobody wants to do is to have everyone wear life jacket all the time. From there it's risk assessment and individual risk tolerance. We dont wear all the time, but I've been caught in pop up storm in extremely rough water where I had to carry on. My wife and I put...

Jetboat capsizes on the Hudson killing two

"Coast Guard officials said the group was on a 24-foot Yamaha AR-240 jet boat. They're not yet sure if it was chartered, as was initially reported, or if the boat was a privately-owned pleasure craft. The 3,660-pound boat has a top speed just below 52 MPH. It also has the capacity to hold the 12...

    Trailer turn signal help

These have license plate light built in. You don't have to install a box and a separate light. While you are at it you can also replace the light bar in the middle at the back. Those were the first bulbs to go when I had incandescent. Blazer LED Low Profile Submersible Stop/Tail/Turn Light |...
