    Intermediate bearing greasing advice

At least for my model, they only get grease if the hose isn't taught. 18th season and they may have gotten greased a handful of times.

    Wake tower support?

The pull on the tower is limited to your hand strength.

    Wake tower support?

    Nothing to worry about.

Rope sucked in through output nozzle?

I don't even like reading this. It's been 12 years since I sucked up a rope. Now I have worry about some other type of phenomenon.

    More work on the boat....

Headed to the lake yesterday. Went from chalky gray to pretty much glossy black. I think I'm going to get a basic tarp to cover down from the mooring cover to keep the sun off as I don't want to do this again. Now that I started doing stuff I can't stop. New engine hatch struts ordered...

06-09 230/232 Windshield Strap Replacement Options

I can confirm that this works for the windshield strap. It's plug and play except for cutting the excess and burning to seal threads. $51 vs $17.

    6 or 8 Channel Amp

To do what you want to do there is no cheap way to do it unless you are under powered. I tried to do something similar to you with one amp and ended up with two. I have a 4x100 JL, and a 5 channel JL that has 2 channels bridged for tower speakers, and a higher power single channel for sub. A...

    More work on the boat....

I gotta get it in the bright sun to see all the imperfections or places I didn't get as well. I'm also bad about missing wax dust and I get out on the water and like WTF! :)

06-09 230/232 Windshield Strap Replacement Options

I'm in the same boat....no pun intended. I'm going to try this one and report back. I don't want to buy material and a tool that would end up costing the same or more than the OEM. But I will give this one a shot...

    More work on the boat....

I was feeling bad about how the boat looked on the outside based on the nice comments I got on my previous post. It spurred to me to give it another wetsand and polish. The first side has been wetsanded with my milwaukee m18 sander. Starting with 600 grit, to 800, to 1,000, and then 1500...

Started 18th Season with AR230 today

The two worst things for me, like you: pulling the floor hatch over the gas tank, and replacing the plastic scupper. I ran heavy duty cable from the battery compartment to the helm compartment for my two audio amps. Broken, stripped, seized....you name it on the bolts. I had to cut, drill...

Stripper pole on the swim deck.

    Alternatives to water test

I'm like that too. A test will show up potential problems with engine and pumps. Also more minor things like electrical problems. Obviously drive train is most important, but a bunch of minor things can drive you crazy.

Started 18th Season with AR230 today

Little bit of smoke and mirrors. Kinda like the Millennium Falcon, good where it counts. It has its nicks and dings. We have well got our moneys worth out of it though. I think we paid $36K new.

Started 18th Season with AR230 today

I've neglected some things over 17 years, but not anything mechanical. I've had upholstery replaced in all areas at least once. My graphics are almost faded white. I've wetsanded and polished one year and it looked great for a couple of seasons. It's just rough when it stays outside...

Started 18th Season with AR230 today

Obligatory beginning of year post. Woke her up from storage this week. Cleaned up, change oil and plugs, went out today and all was well. Ran a slight wind aided 48.7 mph GPS at 10,200 RPMS. Not for very long though, don't like running WOT. I haven't check the hours in a while, but I would...

    Clean out plug disaster...

Too late now, but what happened to the jet port popper? is it still a product and any around? Might have been helpful.

    Loading boat on trailer

There is no set way to determine trailer depth by water on fenders due to varying ramp angles. Shallow ramp angles you may have to back way down with water covering fenders, very steep angle not much water cover at all. You need to be just deep enough for the boat to self center but still make...

My audio upgrade plan for 2023 AR 250 - update - revision 5

You also want headroom. There are various rules out there but you want more than the RMS rating. I think 100w is good for 75w RMS speaker.
