    Battery outdoor power equipment

They are likely required to service a John Deer mower even if it's bought at big box store. Could just be convenience for some people. The big box stores give discounts that that the John Deer dealer might not give, like military. My sister in law saves a butt load on stuff with the military...

AR230 Impeller Pitch and also WTB

If you can build up and then sand down that would seem to work. It's amazing how little build up or swelling of the plugs will freeze them in place.

AR230 Impeller Pitch and also WTB

If you are talking about the inside of the cleanout plug housing where the cleanout plug actually inserts and locks down, You can use a cylinder hone. I'm not sure epoxying would be a good idea as the tolerances are pretty tight for the cleanout plug to lock down and still be able to be removed.

    Battery outdoor power equipment

I've got about 1/3 acre. I blew an almost new honda lawnmower engine and decided to take the plung with the ego lawnmower. Initially I thought it was OK but then notice a couple of things. The width of the handle is too narrow and very uncomfortable. Also the distance of the handle from the...

YES Warranty parts and repair delays

This is the downside to any warranty. I'm sure there are folks that are tickled pink with their warranty, and this may work out for you.

Saved $400 on insurance by switching to Progressive

Moved from Allstate to Farmers and saved a little. Out entire policy is around $400, so now way we could save hundreds unless it's free insurance.

    Ballast system

Pumps are on a timer, not some sort of float switch. They all would need to have an overflow

    Gel coat?

It does look like someone tried to "fix" it. To be fair it doesn't look like fresh damage, although it is damage nonetheless. There has either been an attempted fix, or there is a void between gelcoat and fiberglass.

Gas in Exhaust / Oil in Starboard Engine

Check your oil level. If an injector is stuck open and gas going into oil it will thin it out and could cause catastrophic engine failure.

    Touch Up Paint

Unfortunately it's not paint. It's gelcoat. The problem with those types of scratches is it's not really deep to get a great mechanical bond, but too deep to wetsand and polish. You could try the gelcoat with a plastic spreader and see how it goes, or you might need to take a tool and create...

    Anyone play acoustic guitar?

I've played for 40+ years. Mainly acoustic. Have a Martin D28 that is from the late 80s. Played in bands over the years but not much in the past 15+ years. Got back with a garage band and started playing electric. Have Strat and Tele. Got my chops back somewhat and have learned some new...

Try not to break your routine....

So I have a routine I've had for about 15 years. Today I was in a hurry and on a work call and moving the boat to a slip. I broke my routine and decided to do everything at the ramp. I forgot one thing....the plug. I can get in the water and going quickly by myself. I got everything done...

    What's your favorite Bourbon?

I'll have to try it out. It's more expensive because it's aged at sea! LOL!

    What's your favorite Bourbon?

Bulleit Rye is my go to. I prefer Rye over Bourbon in general now. My younger nephews rave about Whistle Pig and others but I always go back to Bulleit. Sazarac is my second. I have all the other bourons and ryes in my bar for show and other people.

    2008 AR230 HO starboard engine won't start

Did the previous owner replace that engine? Just curious. 150 is very low hours. Just for some context, mine has around 700 which is less than 50/year that I've owned. I have a theory with nothing but random observation over the years for MR1 motors. Low hours aren't good. I don't think...

    2008 AR230 HO starboard engine won't start

What's the history of the boat? Have you owned since new? Engine is not really fixable with hole in the block enough for parts to come out.

There are people that will ignore because they know everything and are smarter than everybody else.

Changing out the surge brake actuator.

I just block front and back wheels with chocks and pull back and forth, go back, and hit emergency break. Get out of truck and go turn the bleeder screw. Then repeat as many times as needed. I've done it a couple of times over the years and I'm never prepared for the fluid shooting out the...

    Trailer Wiring Troubleshooting

Almost every issue I've had with trailer wiring (other than bulb out) has been a ground wire issue.
