    Selling Questions

We sold it in April. It took about 3 weeks. I don't; recall the commission but I think it was somewhere between 5 and 10% of the sold price. You can also state a minimum net amount you require from the sale. I am sure if you can work it pretty much however you want. It sounds like a lot of...

    Selling Questions

I have done similar to the above as well. I also had my dealer sell my boat for me as well under consignment. Yes it cost a little but I didn't have to worry about people, water tests, money or paperwork. It was simple and easy.

I had that same thing with my wife's Grand Cherokee. I hate the design but it is what it is! Like adjusting lifters on a slant 6!!! So stupid!

    What's that noise?

It sounds like the starter is still spinning just a little. I don't recall if there is a separate starter relay or if it is all one unit. If it is one unit I am sure you are about to fix it with the new starter.

Sea Plane I think. "Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 91.115 places collision avoidance responsibly on the seaplane pilot with the language, "Seaplane pilots shall, insofar as possible, keep clear of all vessels and avoid impeding their navigation."

We got 3" to 4". The lakes were just getting some ice on them. Last year they wee frozen solid when we had -5. Played with the ATV and UTV outside and played games inside! Being on top of the mountain nobody was going anywhere.

    Air Compressor won't stop running

Thanks for all the responses. The wiring was good. I tied the safety valve closed (this was a little nerve racking) and the compressor shut off around 165. So the safety value must be bad even though I had swapped it out already. I am guessing the PIS dial is a little off as well. Bottom...

    Air Compressor won't stop running

Thanks for all the responses. This worked fine until the day it stopped shutting off. The power is 120 and one side of the power (both wires are black) goes to the switch and one goes to the motor to compete the circuit. if I pull the wire off the switch that is going to the motor while it is...

    Air Compressor won't stop running

Looking for any possible ideas on what may be going on. The air compressor (a Husky) runs and will not turn off. It starts and builds pressure correctly and at around 155 PSI the safety relief valve pops. I have switched the Pressure Switch twice (I thought maybe the first one was bad) and it...

Did you drain the gas? I always add stabilizer to prevent problems?

    F-35 crash in South Carolina

There has to be more to this story then is being said. There is always an though and intense investigation after any incident. Some conflicting information on the aircraft's display issues. Only a few will ever know for sure!

One picture of your last outing.

My wife saw one when we were in Savannah and never went back in the water. We had a lake house on Hartwell. I started to catch gar and then she didn't want to get into the water there! I hope your wife gets over it quickly!

    Cable/ethernet hub advice needed

I agree about looking at what is going on with your wireless first. We have everything running on wireless and that is typical nowadays. The bandwidth and speed will make a difference but one thing to look at is distance from the router/hub. Walls and floors will diminish the strength. You may...

Lake Hartwell is one of our favorite lakes. We had a lake house there. Great swimming and fishing!

I have pulled so many people back to ramps and helped several get running again (I carry basic tools)! It always makes me feel good, like helping someone on the side of the road.

Clean out plug - i got it out

I had some that would stick as well. I rebuilt them and then never had a problem after that. I took them out about three times a year when I detailed the boat.

Son of a BLEEP!!!! Newbie mistake... UPDATE!

As was said above "Sh*t happens". It took awhile for me to get it down too and "back in the day" I added the Cobra fins to help with low speed steering. The one key thing I learned never go faster than you are willing to hit the dock. I have had several boats and by far the jet boat was the...

I have heard several people talk about the manifolds cracking. If you look on-line you can see it seems to start around 2011. Sometimes the bolts actually break. I have a 2015 and I think I may have a crack now since I can hear the tell-tell ticking noise.
