I have heard several people talk about the manifolds cracking. If you look on-line you can see it seems to start around 2011. Sometimes the bolts actually break. I have a 2015 and I think I may have a crack now since I can hear the tell-tell ticking noise.

    Spider Cracks - Big Deal?

When it is serviced at the dealer ask the owner to provide a written statement on the spider cracks from the dealer. You don't care about the cause but you do want to make sure you understand the cost to repair it and what is repaired. Then you can decide what to do. Even if you don't get the...

    Spider Cracks - Big Deal?

I never had that happen. I am thinking they must have used it to tow a tube or something. Curious what the fiberglass experts say. I have has some some spider cracks but not that big. I would think if the handle is still in place and doesn't move it is not a big problem and could be fixed but...

    Gel coat?

The fiberglass looks OK. I had some light damage further up and repaired it myself. After that I put a keel guard on it. It was much cheaper than the deductible and I prefer to do it myself so I know what how it was done.

I read about the "Bird-Friendly Maple Project " up in your area to get the maple trees down to 75% of the forest. The idea to improve the bird population which should also help with insects etc. I know you get to have some kind of seal to show how eco the product is. I was just wondering what...

I was looking into how to get rid of them myself. I think they wander a lot and as long as there is ample food they are around.

I have broke them before as well. I find when they put tires on they like to overtighten the lug bolts. As mentioned above use Anti-seize. Those pads were bad. Were the rotors still good?

    Emerald Isle, NC

I have enjoyed the NC and Ga coast lines so much. When you mentioned the flounder season I was surprised and looked it up. I found that the flounder population is getting very low and this year you only have two weeks to fish for flounder. So go back out there September 15th through the 29th and...

Post up your funny MEMES (Nothing Political Please)

Being a southern boy we always called them toboggans. Moon pie and a RC was common and all soda was a Coke! Joined the Maines and had a lot of friends from up north. I still remember when they would say they had a truck and then I found out it was a van not a truck. We talked about a lot of the...
