    The great trailer tragedy

Pleased to here Progressive handled this wonderfully, as they have a bad rap in these parts at least for car claims. I have them also for the boat, with trailer and tow coverage but nonetheless, I pay about 150 bucks a year for the BOAT US policy also, as I know they will instantly cover trailer...

Can anyone help me fix my 07 SX230 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida?

Dont know if this guy can help at all, but I met him at a park about 3 years ago when he had beached his SX230 from the river and was out enjoying the park. We were just talking because we had the same boat and of course his business came up when I asked about a maintenance person if I ever...

In the Fall? Nothing like the challenge of being in the replay booth knowing you have to review every reviewable aspect of a play before the next snap gets off, or it is your ass! Keeps the brain young, (At least I hope)

    How old is too old??

^Not necessarily true, if the boat was well cared for, I'd buy it. Just not at 28k that is pandemic pricing when folks were desperate for a boat and would pay almost anything. This one is book priced at 22-25K. Use this only as a guide. But these boats, if cared for, are not ticking time...

Bigger always better. Go twins. More power which you will realize you don't have when you have a single engine.

    P2P insurance

If fraud etc is involved in the shielding process, it is a less daunting task to pierce the veil. Clearly, fraud etc will defeat one of the reasons for an LLC or Corp. Negligenct acts are not an avenue which will pierce the corporate veil. Bottom line? Make sure you are over-insured.

    P2P insurance

Here we go with the non - lawyers giving legal advice.....If things are set up properly (and not via "legal zoom" or other types of internet legal forms companies) you can insulate yourself. That is precisely what these entities are set up to accomplish, I am certain the facts of the...

Low Hours Boat Requiring Decision on Engine

Or, do not buy an SBT at all. SBT = COMPLETE GARBAGE. Warranty or not. I am basing this on personal experience, with a 2 year warranty - and only put about 30 hours on it in 2 summers and within one month out of warranty, it blew. They are built NOT TO LAST. Mind you, this was on my...

    Boat Stolen - 2011 Yamaha 242 Limited S - MUST READ

Just some atty advice. Basically, you have been made whole -legally speaking - by your insurance company (even though we know you have not been made whole all things considered) so they now have your rights to go after who they believe is responsible. Which if the storage lot? They will not...

2016 yamaha 212x draining lots of water after just a few hours on the lake.

Whe I was tearing around like a bat out of hell towing people and roughing it up, I always noticed I had a load of water draining at the end of the day. When on a normal cruise with no maniacs on board? Nary a drop comes out at end of the day.

    Waverunner battery...

Or spend 53 bucks (10% off coupon of course) from the recommendation above and have it delivered to my Maryland beach house; swap it out; and not sweat it for the season.

    Waverunner battery...

@Cobra Jet Steering LLC Snarky as usual; I was just wondering how putting water into a dead battery suddenly revived it without having put a charge on it. Glad it worked for you; I was just curious.

    Waverunner battery...

OK Jeff, tell me how pouring water in suddenly revives the charge? Interesting for a dummy such as myself.
