this idiot is buying spare tire and forgot to get tire info last time took boat out. Anyone know the correct size.

My 08 212x has 205/75r14 load range C tires, which seems to be the most common size for most of our trailers.

That's what I thought but store only had 205/75 d14. Do you know what difference is?

It's only my spare. So I'll use only when needed and reace with r. Thanks

I have been looking for tires as well (the originals are crap). My tire sizes are the same as yours. My question is around why not just put regular car tires on the trailer? I have those on my small trailer for the motorcycles and they just go forever. They hold air and there is no dry rot cracks etc. I understand the bias tires have stronger sidewalls? Anyone run with regular car radials on their boat trailer?

Trailer tires are designed with far less flex and are usually a much heavier construction. They don't have to worry about "passenger comfort" in the consrtuction, so they can make them far less flexible, able to handle much higher pressure, and be able to carry much more weight. They are designed to reduce trailer sway as well. Personally, I'd stick with trailer tires for anything as heavy as a jet boat. Besides, they're usually cheaper than corresponding sized car tires in the same weight rating.

That is what I was thinking but they don't last like a regular radial tire that is why I was asking. Thanks for your thoughts.
