Anybody know off hand what their RPM reads at full throttle?

Damn I only hit about 7800, anybody have any ideas why maybe?

8100rpm here too

What should it be??

Would there be any reason you weren't getting 8100 for example in the case of our friend Slugger55?

I noticed I get 8100 when it's just me in the boat. My RPMs come down slightly by 100 to 200 when I have a full boat. I guess the computer is compensating or something?

Also, I have found that when I have people in the bow and no one aft i loose a few mphs. The bimini does the same when deployed..

Wide open throttle on both the 200 and 250 Rotax is 8050 rpm. However this is on premium 91octane gas that is required for the supercharged engines. If running regular 87 octane gas you will only turn roughly 7800 rpm.

As the post above depending on the fuel quality you will see different results due to the engine's knock controls. It will retard timing, and lower rpm to protect itself from detonation. In other words, if you fuel the boat with non-ethanol gas (usually 89 octane) the motor will not run as efficient as if you would have used 91-93 octane pump gas. Other factors will be: raw water temperature (affects intercooler efficiency), and ambient air conditions.

I pump 91-93 octane
