Hi,

I reserver a 2022 195s boat, and dealer told me that there is a preowned 2021 195s to sell, which is 28 hours, price is $7k off compared with 2022 new one
which one is better? is there any difference between 2021 and 2022 195s?

Nope I do not believe so. Exact same boat

Is that 7K off the sale price excluding freight and prep, or 7K plus the cost of both of those?

What is the selling price with everything but Tax? That would be the number to compare with.

Warranty difference? Nice thing the 2021 is broken in. 10hr service done. Any upgrades on the 21 yet?

I’m not aware of any difference beside color

Only change I know of is to the throttle shifter area where they change the molding slightly. Other than the colors, that is the only change.

OTD price on both is what we need.

I am leaning towards take the used one though.

My bad. My OTD price was 48399 because that was the MSRP when I put my deposit down. I was told by my dealer that the new MSRP is 48899. Even if I had bought just today, the OTD price would be 48899. Good luck to you.

So that is the total with tax/prep/registration? If so that's a phenomenal deal on a brand new boat.

Yamaha's 2022 promo video says the cockpit area is 7" longer. Guessing bow seating is shorter.

7” longer from the previous generation, I believe they mean the redesign between 2018 to 2019.

I believe that is correct.

That would make sense, but how would anyone now that, at least from this promo.

Yep! I mean if you live in Oregon and there is no sales tax. Titling would be added but that’s determined by where you live. I don’t know how mine would compare to yours, about $120. I live in Washington, so I had a sales tax of 8.4%. No added dealer prep. It came with the good, black, Yamaha boat cover.
So yeah, you could have paid cash and the OTD price would be MSRP. I recognize that I had a great dealer and a great price compared to other places. I hope that your deal will be as good as mine.

Different colors schemes as far as I know

Galvanized trailer was only $500 more when we deposited on our 195s. in 11/20.

got the answer the used one is about the same as MSRP for the 2022 one, but 2022 one they ask for $6888 freight and prep, is this normal?
