Just purchased this boat a few months ago. Just curious if there is any scheduled maintenance that needs completed besides regular oil changes and annual grease of the rear water seal? I feel like there are some jet pump bearings that would need lubed, but can't find anything about it.

do you know any of the history of the boat ?

at 16yrs, if you don't know the history I would definitely pull the impeller cone for a quick look/see at the rear bearing and then determine if I need to refill grease or change the bearing,

change you scupper valve,

.

Thanks guys!! Scupper valve has been changed. I do have some receipts for maint. done in the past....oil changes, spark plugs, cables. The rear grease seal was done last year but I am going to remove the hose and check on that. The impeller cone and rear bearings are what I was concerned about. My nephew has a seadoo jet ski and his bearings seized. I am assuming you just remove the cone and re-lube? Just it just take regular marine lube? I am working on getting a service manual so I can reference the factory maint schedule. There is also a supplemental manual for our boats. Anyone know if that is worth purchasing and what information it has?

the service manual and a YDS unit I consider a "must have" if you're going to do anything more than oil/plugs,

we have many threads about "how to" do the impeller bearings, I would look at them and if any question I would replace them so you have a good starting point and confidence in it.

The FAQ section at the top of the page has a tremendous amount of DIY instructions,

Reading through all of that now. Great forum and resource!! Thanks for the help!!
