2006 SX210 cracked block? :(

So I recently purchased a 2006 SX210. Seemed like a good deal and only ran it in the driveway dry. Both engines started up no problem, everything seemed in good working order/shape. Gentleman told me he had never used it in salt under his ownership and never used the flush ports but gave me the flush port hookup and a bunch of other stuff as he claimed his kids had grown out of family boating. Everything seemed good, I replaced a stbd housing (which was a pain due to bolt corrosion). I took it out this past weekend. No drama launching, boat cruised around good, hit 42 mph at 8,000 rpm each engine.

It wasn't until we were doing about 15mph I decided to look under the hatch to discover water spraying towards the stbd engine out of the port engine around/near the exhaust manifold. Spray was nearly unnoticeable due to low volume of it and would increase in volume consistent to water bottle spray. Can't remember temperature of spray. I believe there was also some spray under the engine but couldn't access due to space restrictions and heat of exhaust. Bilge didn't seem to be pumping out and there wasn't an alarming amount of water in bilge but once I pulled boat after about an hour of run time, a steady stream came out for a few mins. I checked oil (again) and seemed clear in both engines.

I ran port in driveway at home yesterday and couldn't get more than steady dripping out of the manifold/engine into bilge even at 5,000 or so rpm.

Worth noting that the exhaust bolts were corroded on port engine but not on stbd engine so I'm thinking this problem existed for awhile. Both engines have 2006 date stamps so I assume they're both original to the boat. No idea on hours but I believe it's been a trailered lake boat all it's life so I'd be surprised if it was over 500.

Sorry about the poor footage but it's all I have at the moment. I'll try to get better pics/video tonight. Holding out hope it's not a crack in the block. I'm optimistic for the fact that the oil looks good but the more I read about these engines, the more I'm losing hope. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If it's on the starboard side of the port engine, that's the side with all of the plumbing for the cooling system. I'm fighting plumbing (cooling) problems in that area of my starboard engine. These boats are plagued with issues due to non-marine grade clamps and fittings. Yes, it's probably worse in salt water, but age is a factor, too.

Especially if the water spray is cold, and you are not seeing water mixing with the oil, I would not suspect a cracked block right away. Even if it is a crack, it could be an exhaust manifold.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I would be elated if it were a crack in the manifold. I didn’t think to check the temp of the water but have been thinking about it all day. My mechanic and I are gonna try to diagnose it tomorrow night so hopefully have a good answer in 24 hrs. I’ll be sure to report back.
