Might be a long shot but maybe someone will have an idea before I drop it off to the marina this week. Yesterday I was pulling the kids on the tube and the port side engine went from 7k rims to 4 then shut down and couldn't get to fire back up. Limped back the dock on one engine. I checked all the obvious clean outs, clean cut off switch. After getting it loaded I did get it to start but wasn't sounding great. I figured it might be a fouled plug or 2.

Fast forward to today ( happy father's day!) Hooked up the YDS code reader I bought thanks to this group mainly to read the hours as this is new to me boat this year. Only code it read was a low oil pressure code. Which there was still oil on the stick, little confused. I switched out the plugs with brand new
CR9EB (not from amazon) still no change. Starts up runs for 5-10 seconds long enough to turn the water on then shuts off. Then tries might run a but only for a few seconds if it fires up. I did notice the IAC valve was getting hot to the touch after little research I swapped that out with the right engine. No changes, kinda of at a loss here. I did do all the test the YDS would allow coils, fuel pump, crossover injectors. Only thing left to swap over would be the ecm. The fuses are good, battery is charged and good, coils with sparkplugs and without plugs, even sprayed a little starting fluid didn't make a difference. Right engine runs fine. Sorry for the long post if you made it this far. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks gents happy late father's day!

Pull your lanyard switch all the way out and let it snap back in. Do that several times. That is the switch that will allow crank but no start. There are actually 2 contacts, one for each engine, on the switch.
