Hello -
I just purchased a 2008 Williams Jet Tender Turbojet 385 with Weber engine. There is NO OIL registering on the dip stick. It is understood that the oil must be checked once the engine is warm. It just seems counterintuitive to start the Weber engine for the first time without confirmation that there is any oil in the crankcase. The previous owner indicated that the oil was recently changed prior to purchaing it.

Does anyone have any intel on oil levels for cold Weber engines?

Thank you in advance,
Oliver

I do know that most times you need to have any boat on the water as on the trailer it will read incorrectly. I am not familiar with that motor but this is just general practice
