I have a new to me 2010 AR240 that needs a Bimini. All the yamaha parts stores show it discontinued. They do list Bimini's being available for 2012 and 2013. Does anyone have a picture of your stock 2012-2013 bimini so I can see if they are the same? I think they are very similar.

I tried to have a local canvas shop make a new one, but they want way more $ for a "custom" one than what the parts dealers for the 2012 want.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you find out if the 2012 would fit? I've been trying to find out the same thing.for my 2011

If you're just talking the awning then 2010-2014 AR240 should all be interchangeable. The part number - U3131 has remained constant.

If you look at the Yamaha part numbering https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/boat/2013/ar240-high-output-sxt1800cm/bimini-top-carpet it provides a clue as to the actual part fitment.
2010 bimini part number on an AR240 is F2D-U3131-00-00.
2011 Bimini part number on an AR240 is <same as above>
2012 Bimini part number on an AR240 is F2D-U3131-50-00
2013 bimini part number on an AR240 is <same as above>
2014 bimini part number on an AR240 is <same as above>

The Yamaha part methodology is below:

first three = Model code (F2D)
-
Next five = basic part number code (U3131) <--This is consistent
-
Next two = Design Code number of changes (00 or 50). This part may or may not appear different, but it will be interchangeable with the original part.
-
Next two = color or finish (00) <--we know this is one color fits all.

I own a 2010...which has a partially torn bimini as well. Maybe we should survey the AR240 community and see if we can get a canvas co to make us multiple bimini's - for a volume discount...versus one off templating. I know in the past RedThumper sewed their own...which looked great.
