2011 Yamaha 242 limited S
Towards the end of the the last season i broke a piece off my stainless solas impeller (starboard side) When removing it, i noticed it was a 13/19 pitch ( i bought the boat after they were switched from stock). i bought the exact pitch from solas. After replacing it, I noticed that it ran great, but while at WOT this new impeller’s engine was a grand lower in RPMs than the port side.... this impeller must have been labbed.
What is everyone else running on their boats

I have two Solas impellers from impros. At least one possibly both were repitched by impros. One impeller lost a blade at the end of a season, so I used the stock Impllers the following season while I waited for a new impeller from impros. The new Solas impeller wasn’t pitched the same way as the Solas impeller it replaced which caused it to be out of sync rpm wise with the other Solas impeller. As such the new Solas impeller had to be repitched. I called impros new owner (Jerry Gaddis?), he asked me a few questions about what I was experience, I sent both impellers in and he repitched the new one at no cost to me but shipping fees. Now The impellers rpms match throughout the throttle range as they should. I recommend that you consider giving impros a call now, during the off season.

FYI, Yamaha jet boats were outfitted with impellers of different pitches until around 2015.
