I have a AR192 and after the winter took it out and it will not get past 5500 rpm. I changed spark plugs and oil. Does anyone know of another issue that could cause this.

Check air filter to see if it's dirty of clogged as well. Did you use stabil or is it fresh fuel?

I did check air filter and was. To bad shape. I put stabil in it and also use only 100% gas. It is acting like the plug in back is not in.

Hey, I’m new to the forum! I’ve had the same problem in the past but eventually it’s gone away and allowed me get back up to speed. Hopefully someone chimes in with good info.

You could be missing spark to one of the cylinders so just check all plug wires. Pull them and reseat them or actually, check each plug to make sure it looks good also.
