Eh. Don't need to sell yet, but it's inevitable. Yeah, haven't had her long. Yeah, I'd probably rather keep her at least the summer. But, she pretty much is just gonna live in storage all season as we take the skis out most of the time, and we're moving to Florida next year. Kudos to you folks that rock 21' jet boats offshore, I'm just not man enough for that. I plan on buying a real offshore boat once we're settled down there.
So, about the beast. She's an SE model, in the final model year. @DieselCamel purchased her brand new and did most of the boat modifications during his tenure. He also always kept her in the garage, a luxury I don't have. Still under warranty! (til I forget when? September this year or next I'm pretty sure) 90 hours as of Monday. I've only had her 3? months now, and put I think a whole 2 hours on (my brand new skis are over 20, that should display our usage). She has 430HP (twin 215hp engines) and she'll fly. I've hit 56, and it doesn't take long to get there. I just changed the oil and spark plugs this past Monday. They are supercharged 3 cylinder 1.5L rotax engines. All maintenance performed before this one was done at the local-ish Seadoo dealer.
What you may or may not know about these boats. 2012 has the upgraded supercharger washers - no worries there. It has a "perfect pass" -esque system from the factory. It has sound deadening from the factory. Push button start. Drive by wire. Engine sync. No wake. Dock mode. Ski mode. Etc... Yeah, SeaDoo was way ahead of the curve on all this stuff. It really sucks they quit making boats. 210SE's were the only ones to get the cool convertible rear lounge chairs, and they are pretty awesome. Huge built in cooler in the swim deck also that self drains. (or just wet storage, whatever). The Doo's were also way easier to steer off throttle, their reverse buckets were a MUCH better design.
Mods -
Wetsounds SD-4 amp + Wetsounds 6.5's throughout and 10" IB sub - all professionally installed by an authorized wetsounds dealer with their wiring and such.
Garmin GPS641
Full Seadek package
Thrust Vectors (early first gen, really not even needed)
Keelguard
Boat buckles
CE smith guide poles with covers and lights
New (4) radial tires last summer
Fulton F2 winch
Dual battery setup
Noco onboard charger (with through hull connector inside the boat because Dirk is like 10' tall and can reach in there and plug it in. I cannot)
Bow/cockpit covers
Brand new mooring cover
New LED taillights
I have it listed locally for $34,000. I will let it go to a member for $31,000 - that's exactly what I have in her. That is a non-negotiable, helluva deal, kinda price that will only be shared here. Again, I've got a little over a year to sell, so I'm in no rush, but I'd rather just get it out there. Wouldn't mind losing the monthly to put a little more money aside for the move, but it isn't essential.
