Just a question, why are you so dead set on a 242X?

Just like the look and the extended Bimini. Plus kids want to start wake boarding so the ballast system.

From the research I've been doing, it looks like $2k would pretty much cover a homemade ballast system with components (pumps, bags, connectors, etc) from wakemakers. That could still leave a good difference between a Ltd S and an X.

I was at a dealer last week that offered me a leftover '17 242 Ltd S for 59,500 (no fees, included 4yrs) plus tax.
