Some on this forum may have read about me losing out on a new 2016 Limited S. Didn't realize until know these boats move fast. I have found another boat but this time a 2015 Limited S. The engines have 75 hours and was wondering for those experts if that is a lot. I have been told by the dealer there is 2+ years remaining on the warranty.

From what I have read there really isn't a huge difference between the 2015 and 2016. Is that correct?

Just looking for some advice.

75 hours is very little time and I would not be the least concerned about it. I would be asking a lot of questions about how it was maintained, however. Especially if it was run in salt water. Ideally I would want to see maintenance records.

No major differences between the '15 and '16 model years in the 24 footers. Just colors, and I think some seadeck sections (not sure).

I don't think that 75 hrs is anything on these boats as long as they are properly maintained.

Sounds reasonable for a 15. 37.4 hours on it a year is under what most on have on their engines. I'm at 52 hours with a 2016.

What's the price?? I bought a '15 242 limited s last April with 39 hours on it for $47,900.

The dealer is asking 49,900 with audio upgrades on the tower, underwater lighting and seadek throughout. There are a few more upgrades. Going to look at it tomorrow

That's good. Those upgrades add up!

Damn, I paid 56k for my 2015 limited S last June with only 5 hours on it from a private seller

it came with some upgrades
5 year yes warranty
Premium Cover
Jl audio system, 2 amps, 2 tower speakers and all factory speakers replaced

I am glad I put down a big down payment or I might be upside down
Seems like after the e series came out the limited S drop a little in value

Oh well I'm happy with my boat

Well, I ran across a great deal when I found mine. A member here purchased it new, used it one season, and was selling because of increased travel for work. He was about to have to write a big check to keep it in dry dock storage so he sold it for a reduced price to move
it. Came with 4 years left on warranty, cover, vhf radio, and garmin chart plotter installed. I've spent a ton on audio upgrades though. I think you're right though about the e series. They are more desirable.

Went to the dealer today and looked at the boat. Great shape except for some cosmetic issues. The dealer has all the maintenance records and the boat was only used in freshwater. The boat is in great shape except the trailer was not galvanized. I thought that was going to be a deal breaker because we will use the boat in saltwater. The dealer was great and was willing to work with us and his customer.

He is going to replace the trailer with a new galvanized trailer, fix the cosmetic issues, new premium cover, install keel guard and remove the carpet and snaps and install grey Seadek throughout the boat. Total price including taxes and registration would be just under 55K.

Since he is selling the boat for a customer just waiting to hear back from the customer. We are asking a little less because of the trailer issue.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
