2015 Scarab 165 instrument cluster

Dose anyone have what looks like cracks in the instrument cluster face? It is going to be replaced but I was just wondering if anyone else have seen this.

I have multiple cracks in mine. The dealer said the factory torqued the screws too tight causing the lens to crack. They are however suppose to have changed it by the time I pick it up next Friday.

Mine to, I've got cracks coming down from the top. Need to get it changed.

So just a follow up, BRP has acknowledged the cracking is an issue on the cluster. I got a new one to replaced my last cracked one, 1 week later after not even using the boat the cluster is cracked again. The boat never got wet, the dealer said it was due to trailering it. BRP admitted again that it's a known issue and is replacing at their cost again.

My question, is there a trick to keeping this thing from cracking, or are they just defective? Can I ask for a different type?

P.S: I had to bring the boat back to the dealer who installed the new cluster because they forgot to program it to the boat, they didn't know they had to. So the boat wouldn't even start. Just and FYI if you guys get your clusters changed on all Scarab models, they need to be married to the boats computer.

I got mine replaced in May 2016 and keep it covered and out of the sun and so far so good.

6 years later, but Ricardo at KR_Powersports on Facebook rebuilds these. New lense, new black housing, needles and digital screen repair if needed. Turnaround is a day and he sends you pics and a video of it all done. Awesome service. Price for mine for my 2017 195 Open was about $300 so a fraction of replacement. Looks brand new.
