We have had a great 3 years on the 242, but bit the bullet and moved on to a dedicated wakeboat.
Loaded and ready-to-go:
- 2015 Yamaha 242 Limited S
- Both engines have ~275 hours
- JBP Thrust Vectors and Lateral Thrusters
- New WSM jet pump housings with replaceable wear rings
- New Connext screen (replaced by dealer under warranty)
- Ready for wakeboarding and surfing
-- Perfect Pass with the JBP gauge mount (very slick, sits in nook to the right of Connext, see pic)
-- 800# fatsacs under both back seats, plumbed-in with integrated fill/drain switches (in front of throttles, see pic)
-- 500# lead in convenient 25# bags (you can use this instead of a "platform bag" and quickly switch side-to-side)
-- Mudflap to clean-up the wave
- Great stereo
-- Wet Sounds XS-650 in-boat speakers (including the popular upgrade of extra mid-cabin speakers)
-- Wet Sounds Icon 8 tower speakers

We live in Key Largo and boat exclusively in saltwater, so standard-operating-procedure is to flush the engines with Salt Away and rinse down the entire boat EVERY outing, just like the thousands of other boats down here. Great overall condition, and great deal on a turnkey boat.
