You the left of the jet drive there is a rubber grommet with a star cut in it. It appear there is a gasket on mine that is trying to blow out. Is this serious or an easy fix? Do I need to fix it now or at my leisure? New to jet boats and not too sure thanks in advance.20200618_173515.jpg

PN#19 ~16 BUCKS.
Held on with a couple of screws.

It acts like a baffle as water from exhaust is pushed out

Nothing to worry about. It's just excess caulking material that got squeezed out when the screws were tightened during assembly. Had the same thing on mine.
