This is my first post since I introduced myself, I admit I have been lingering trying to educate myself from all of the great posts. I am in a unique situation as I currently live in Hawaii and going to retire from the military in about 6 months. I already bought a house in TX, and now I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2016 AR240 with only 18hrs. I am going to fly out to pick it up and store it at my TX house. I am a little crazy because I am purely going off of extensive research as Hawaii dont have any Yamaha dealerships with boats (only jet skis). I want to store it in my garage (sideways) but my door hight is only 7'9". I am not sure if I am able to lower the tongue or air out of tires to squeeze it in or not. If anyone knows the hight on trailer could you please help a brother out?

8'6" on the trailer with tower down. Maybe with the tongue down you could get the foot that you need.

Luckie thank you so much. I have a plan B, but I would rather be able to stick it in my garage until I move in.

I wouldn't go by what the Yamaha site says. It was wrong for my boat. Instead get someone on here to measure their 2016 AR240 for you, if they're willing which I'm sure someone would help. Also if the tower collapses via a cable I would think it's designed like my tower is. If that's the case you can actually lower the tower inside the windshield by removing the stop washers. That is what I had to do to make my AR192 fit in my 82" garage opening.

The Ar240 tower looks to be made by the same manufacturer as my AR192 tower and if so perhaps this video will help give you an idea how to lower the tower into the windshield...

I really appreciate the advice and the video. I hope the new AR240 allows me to lower it even more.
