Thanks appreciate the feedback one other quick question. I am not new to boating , but I am new to jet boats with those two engines. Do they need to be flushed out via the heat exchanger after use in the salt water?

Everything you need to know about jet boats and yours specifically will be in there. Definitely read this. It will also describe the flush procedure. Make sure to follow it. Specifically, make sure to follow the order:
1. Engine on.
2. Water on.
3. Water off.
4. Engine off.
In that order. You can flood the engine if you don't.
The other important part is to NOT flush longer than 2 min at a time. You will overheat the critical carbon seal if you do. Frankly, less than a min is enough and avoids this issue entirely.
The "heat exchanger" is known as a ride plate. It has antifreeze in it. You need to replace the coolant every 2 years (green) or every 5 years (orange) depending on what you have in there. Or measure the specific gravity via a hydrometer to test its properties.

In case you didn't realize, your boat has the same engine as Scarab. So if you look in that section of the forum, you may find lots of useful info. It's all the same.
