We recently purchase a 2016 195 in Lake Havasu. Upon purchase the boat had 9 hours on it, but was still sold as "new". We have put less than 2 hours on the boat in fresh water and it has been one thing after the next. Currently the boat is stuck in what feels like limp mode. The battery and engine light came on the second time we took it on the water. We have checked for pebbles, debris and there's nothing in the jet. After speaking with the dealer we were advised to put the battery on a trickle charger and that a low or bad battery could falsely trigger an engine code. We bought a brand new battery installed it, the low battery light went away but the boat remains in limp mode (not in docking mode) and Ski and Cruise mode lights do not show in the console. Engine light still on. There is a vigorous vibration when any forward throttle is given. Does anyone know how to reset the computer?

If you have a vibration, check for something stuck between the impeller and the wear ring. A small piece of wood, plastic etc can cause alot of vibration. check from below, and behind.

I agree with @Scott E , also make sure that your impeller isn't loose. @Slugger55 had it come completely loose.

Does the engine sound like it's firing on all 3 cylinders when it's idling?
You might be able to press the MODE button repeatedly to enter the FAULT CODE function, then use the SET or ARROW buttons to read the fault code(s).
Tell us what codes are showing.(letter and 4 digits)

Check to make sure that the coil pack for each cylinder is seated properly over the spark plugs. I had a similar issue and found that the #1 cylinder coil pack came off the spark plug. Looking at it will not give you an indication that it is loose, you need to push on them to make sure it is seated...
